I finished Gundam 00 yesterday and caught up with season 2... brilliant!

I ordered the robot damashii line of Gundam figures - the S2 Exia and Dynames.

What other Gundam series would you recommend? I watched the first episode of Seed and didn't like it much. Also, Kira Yamato's design is painful.

You should watch After War: Gundam X and Turn-A Gundam. Only watch SEED and Destiny if you want to facepalm so hard you hit the back of your skull.

I remember watching the dubbed wing back in the day on CNX/Toonami/Whatever before I even knew what the word "anime" was. I loved it.

Man, Heero was such a prick. I only have vague memories of 3-4 episodes or so, but I loved the immense space battles.

Just watched the first episode of Michiko to Hatchin. I liked the unusual South American setting and much of the general style of the episode. Can't really say much about where it is going from the first episode, but it could be good.

This is true, but Macross Frontier seems to have gone out of its way to drop anything Harmony Gold could claim to own the rights to.

The UN Spacy logos, Skull Squadron logo, the original Valk designs are all gone. I think this has all been done deliberately to increase the chances of a release.

They could just call if something clever like M:Frontier.

Yeah, I think it could be something special one it gets a bit of momentum up. The cinderella story was a bit emotionally manipulative last week though - I thought it came off a bit cynical as they kept on pouring on the pain. Was quite enjoyable when Hatchin finally snapped though!

I think it really depends on what the show is. It's certainly more a phenomenon with newer shows then older shows. Chances are that if they are supposed to be attractive high school girls or scantily clad, they're likely to have noticably large chests. Chest size is also commonly used as plot or gag devices (examples including AzuDaioh, Slayers and Haruhi) shockingly enough

I was under the impression it was artistic rather then budgetary, but Gainax are well known to have had multiple cash flow issues so either way wouldn't surprise me

Also, that main theme is as catchy as hell.

Someone from work just sent me an image of Haruhi inside a message over the ps3. If it was say...imp I'd not be that surprised, but the person who sent me the message is not an anime fan as far as I know, and no one at work knows I watch anime*, so i'm puzzled to find out if it's because he is a closet anime fan or just sending me random shit he found on google I did however specifically name Haruhi when I asked why he was sending me images, so I might end up with people taking the piss when I'm back on dayshift

*I'd rather not advertise the fact t work unless I know I can discuss it with another fan
