Been watching Black Lagoon again recently, fuck me I love that show. Revy is easily one of my fave anime characters ever, crazy bitch :wub: Roll on series 3.

As for GITS I have to say I love everything GITS including the second series and the second film. No doubt about the pretentiousness of the second film though I don't think the second series is that po-faced, the first series certainly had it's moments too. Really liked Solid State Society as well. Guess I'm just a complete sucker for anything GITS related.

Are they actually making anymore GITS ? Seems to have gone very quiet recently, I hope they haven't just left it. I'd be very interested in giving the bluray film versions of series 1/series 2 and solid state society a go, pity it costs a hundred fucking quid. cheeky bastards. will have to try and hunt down a few rips.

Care to review Macross in a few paragraphs?

Alien vessel of unknown origin crashes to earth. Boffin-types reverse-engineer it. Alien vessel of unknown origin is about to be taken out years later for a test flight. Other aliens notice a signal coming from it. Alien vessel of unknown origin charges its lazor and fucks them up. Their mates aren't happy.

It's a very different beast to Macross Plus, which is set wayyy after the original, and not even on the same planet. You can watch them in any order, though. That's the thing with Macross: despite them all being set in the same universe, they're all pretty self-contained stories within it. With transforming planes. And songs. And love triangles.

All are lovely in their own ways. ;)

Oh man, didn't realise it was out today. Won't see it until tomorrow now.

Watched the first 12 Nodame Cantabile today, as I saw a second season is just started. Wasn't sure I would like it, but that was a stupid thought. Loving the performances, especially the two music festival bits in Episode 10 and 11. I think. The episodes tend to run together when watching them back to back. Looking forward to the rest of the season now, before starting on the new one.

Torrenting Gundam 00 as we speak.

And the first episode of Kannagi, a new anime from the current season. Also should get around to watch Casshern Sins episode one, which also debuted this season.

Anyone else watched Toradora 01 yet?

The festival ones are great with piece with Nodame in a mongoose suit and then the episode after with Chiaki's Rachmaninov. New series should be great.

Kannagi's looking really good. Not much happened since it's a setup episode but the animation is great and that OP is bloody catchy. Casshern has a lot of style but it's lacking a bit in explaining the plot. I learned more from reading the synopsis on anidb than I did from watching it. Very stylish though.

Toradora's quite good as well despite what you've probably read/seen of the spam on /a/. A Rie tsundere(it really is the easiest word to explain) series but hopefully it should be enjoyable if they stick to the source material.

Need more subs of everything else!
