Did anyone else RAGE when Murasaki

got taken away and HE DIDN'T USE THE BONE SWORD. WHY DIDN'T YOU USE THE BONE, MAN.

Geass was excellent, the chess was pretty hilarious, especially with /a/ being taken over for an entire 36 hour period with chess threads or so.

Macross Frontier, hilarious episode, and some touching Ranka scenes.

Rewatched FMP 1-7, still excellent.

I seem to remember that theories ranged from

him not wanting to use it because he wanted to depend on his own strength or he got his ass kicked so hard that he didn't have time to use it.

Geass was excellent, the chess was pretty hilarious, especially with /a/ being taken over for an entire 36 hour period with chess threads or so.

I found it hilarious that out of the entire episode, the thing that got peoples attention most was that chess scene. :)

I had to stick a knife down the side and lift it out. But there isn't anything under it anyway. Just a bit of cardboard. The space is for the other 3 CDs to come. The other items are in the box filling the space the other DVDs will fit in.

Yeah I finally managed it using a knife to push the CD out using the ridge on the spine. I opened it, had a look at the DS, put it back inside and now I wonder if I'll ever manage to get it out again...

I'm quite tempted to use the tee shirt transfer, but I'm scared I'll waste it; or I'll wash the shirt and it'll flake off and look really crap. :)

First of the gurren lagann official AMV's they're doing. There's a torrent around of it too if you wish to preserve it. But such things are hard to find.

Edit: For the benefit of anyone thinking that it's a shitty AMV, it's not a clip-reel like the fan made garbage but rather takes one of the songs from the series and works a story around it; for example, the Libera Me from hell track will consist of

Lord Genome with a body fighting off a fuckload of anti-spirals

Watched it when it first came out yesterday, being the massive Gurren Lagann fanboy that I am, I eagerly lapped it all up and raved about it for the next 5 hours while having it on continual repeat. Also made a load of gifs of it.

Info on #2, #3, #4

Taken from /a/, so take it with a pinch of salt.

Basically, next week's is supposed to be a prequel with the Spiral King and the anti-spirals. Supposed to be way in the past and is supposed to run for around five minutes. It will included Spiral King, the Anti-Spiral from the series, and supposedly Simon (don't know why).

#3 is going to be set in America (Yeah, really), and it's a kid watching Gurren Lagann on his television. Think Digimon Tamers and how they watched the show, ect. The kid tries to be like Kamina and has the glasses, ect. It's his exploits through his school and such, I guess.

#4 is a casino episode. Kamina, Yoko, Simon, Kittan, Viral, and Nia are at a random casino. They are playing the roulette and all that; Kamina gets down big, the police take him in, and it's up to the others to save him.

#2: FUCK YEAH - POSSIBLE GARLOCK CAMEO??!

#3: LOL - I will fucking laugh hard if this kid sprouts a drill hand. Also, Kamina in the USA, lol.

#4: FUCK YEAH - 4 WORDS PEOPLE, FOUR WORDS: KAMINA, KITTAN, CASINO, POLICE

Only had a quick play with the popcorn hour. I'm not using it to its full potential of creating a server, i've simply connecting a 2.5HD via USB to it and played some files from that. It does look bloomin' lovely though and its played all the MKV's I could throw at it.

GITS 2nd GID in 720p is particularly nice.
