Nabari no Ou has been pretty cool so far. I like how even within the "good" guys they have questionable practices and they're not that far removed from the "bad" guys. It's not quite as black and white as they tend to make these kinds of things, which is nice. Unfortunately I didn't like episode 6.

Mainly because Yoite and Miharu are my least favourite characters and the episode had loads of Yoite-Miharu time. I think it's the indifference that annoys me for Miharu. Yoite... well he lost me as soon as he started talking about changing the past so he was never born. I dunno I guess I like my characters to be clinging to life as tightly as possible and for them to show some passion about something (with good reasons obviously).

Really? I thought that the

Miharu and Yoite thing was quite neat. 2 enemies essentially "working" together like that even if it is ridiculously gay. Blondie's revenge tale is a bit myeh, the teacher's naive protection approach is more suitable to someone younger like Miharu than himself and I don't get the glasses kid.

Still, I'm enjoying it though. :angry:

I've got no problems with the idea of it. I just don't like the characters involved. Pretty much disagree with everything in your spoiler tag too except the revenge storyline which is basically the Uchihas all over again. That's the way it goes I guess...

edit: and with ep 7 they delve into Miharu's past a bit more and my opinion of him has changed accordingly. I guess with that, I'll give Yoite the benefit of the doubt too..

I watched the One Piece Ova that was made before the Tv series earlier. It was absolutely awful :angry:

It was made by Production I.G. in 98, and the Tv series followed in 99. The ova has Luffy, Zoro and Nami as the characters we know and love, except they all have rubbish voices. Not 'different" just due to using different voice actors to the "proper" anime, but not in remotely the same league. The animation isn't much either. Theres no exposition of any kind and it would have been lame if it occurred as filler ep during the early story. It being a separate production outside of the canon just makes it all the worse

The first year tv special on the other hand has been great so far

I think I like glasses kid the best. There's definitely something interesting going on with him

(that made him stab Miharu).

I hope it gets back to lots of fighting soon. There haven't been any fights as good as in the first episode yet!

Finally finished off Claymore after dropping it near the end last year. What a ridiculous abomination that was. Absolutely no need for that pathetic ecuxse of an ending when it left it as open as the manga version did anyway.

I've no idea since I don't know how the manga diverged from the anime but it's basically on the scale of Berserk's ending. Only with Raki spouting lots of cheesy lines making it into a happy-ish ending.

What?! Why?! Who told/convinced you to do that? I remember advising someone to watch the series on the precondition that they simply stopped watching at a certain stage (can't remember exactly what I specified).

Can't be as bad as Fullmetal Alchemist's, surely :lol:

I caught this on tellylast friday night coming home half pissed、so its probably the ep I saw.... I like the art, but that was the 1st ep I saw so was having problems following... I`ll try and catch it again tonight. what episode was that?

It was bad enough that I read a review "L: Change The World" which started with a big spoiler, but for fuck's sake I *said* that I was still reading/watching the manga/anime, which would imply that I don't know how it ends and might you know want to find out for myself. AARRRRGGRGHRGHRHG!

New Kaiba out and it still delivers for another week. Lots of thinking, new developments and still looking amazing. The

police dog things instantly brought it home that it was done by the Kemonozume guy since they look so much like the monkey from it.
