I thought it was pretty good.

And I love Suzaku - fucking deft move!

Whilst I don't love him, I did like seeing Lelouche knocked down a peg or two. Pretty good way to end the episode anyway. It'll be interesting to see what he pulls out of his arse to get himself out of this one.

Went to this on Saturday night. 4 films shown and of which, only 2 were decent:

1. Appleseed Ex Machina: Cliched beyond belief. Worth a rental if you're an Appleseed fan, I guess ^_^.

2. The Girl Who Leapt Through Time: Highlight of the night. Absolutely awesome. Looking forward to the Dvd :(.

3. Tekkonkinkreet: I enjoyed this. Too bad the audience didn't. No applause at all for this great film :wub: .

4. Vexille: Total, total rubbish. Avoid at all costs. Nothing interesting or original about this CGI film.

People applauded this but not Tekkonkinkreet? ;).

Good event but not as great as the line-up of 2007.

Everyone's normally sleep-deprived as fuck by the end of the night, though.

Don't be surprised at the applause; years ago at one of those things, Spriggan was treated as a comedy by the entire cinema.

It was fucking hilarious.

A friend of mine was watching the episode in the next room, I knew he'd got to the end when I heard him shout 'OH YOU FUCKER'. :)

Had a look at that earlier - I'm definitely going to see The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Tekkon Kinkreet. Maybe Paprika too.

I've not seen 5cm per second so I'm unsure. I might go see it because I'll probably regret not going if I watch it at a later date and end up liking it. I won't have time to watch it before friday though...

well paprika is on friday and so is 5 centimeters per second so you may as well stay around :)

i'll be going friday and sunday. sunday only for toki wo kakeru shoujo though, i dont like appleseed.

It's worth it for the first two parts and the stunning animation. Just I personally find the ending a bit meh. Reminds me I need to get the blu-ray version floating around.

Paprika is amazing and I've heard generally good things about 5cm. My plan is to see 5cm, Appleseed, the two Death Notes and The Place Promised In Our Early Days (yes, Meh, I'm paying money to see this film :(). I'm also tempted by The Girl Who Leapt Through Time just to see if it's better on a big screen.

NFT Members only booking at the moment - if anyone wants a ticket now I'll book them if you can do a bank transfer of some description. :lol:

I didn't think it was a sure thing they know. I thought that was one of the points in handing the phone over to him to see if he would react. We obviously see it but Suzaku doesn't see the look on his face. For all we know.

So... they hope to back him into a corner IF he's emerged as Zero, and if he hasn't he'll just be weirded out/nonplussed by Nunnally calling him 'brother'..

I'm really looking forward to

Lelouch having to tell Nunnally over the phone that he doesn't know who the fuck she is. Although I bet he pussies out and just hands the phone back to Suzaku asking 'what kind of joke is this?!'

I'll be booking on friday! I've seen Paprika, and I like it, but not enough to see it, maybe, although it does have some amazing visuals... I'm definitely not a fan of Death Note though.

I've just realised I have an old YHBT Dattebayo version of one of the 5cm episodes. Might try and fit that in tomorrow. :(
