Lancelot is not fucking cool, it's way too... convential to me. Boring overused Gundam-esque designed mechs are all generic. I loved the one WITH THE MOTHERFUCKING CLAWWWWWWWWWWWWW that Kallen drives way more.

Maybe it's because Kallen is sexy, and Suzaku is someone who when combined with Rossiu would cause the internet to explode in rage.

Well, it's not like we've given away the massive spoilers like where Lelouch suddenly turns into an ancient bear god and kills half the school or where Suzaku spontaneously because leader of a cult of top hat wearers that use monocles as deadly throwing weapons.

The 1/100 Overflag kit's out in May. They're releasing "Fix Figuration" figures from 00, which are high detail action figures, starting with the Exia.

Still need to put together my other model kits. I've only put together Epyon so far, and did a pretty shit job of colouring it in. I've ordered more colours since I put that one together, I've still got Astray Red Frame and Deathscythe Hell to do. If I can manage to not mess those up, then I shall order more of them.

been watching a few episodes of fumoffu since Sephy posted that youtube vid this afternoon. Man, it really doesn't get old. I'd love it if KyoAni did some more, or did a proper comedy show soon. After H2 of course!

Just being paranoid after the incident a while ago where people were dumping major spoilers into the thread assuming everyone was up to date with the manga of something

This happens all the time in this thread and over the 'Net in general. It's a right pain when it happens. People assume that because they've seen a particular episode or series, everyone else has too.

Glad I got round to watching Code Geass before I wandered into this thread.

The Code Geass S1 dub is aired in the U.S next month. As Bandai Entertainment is releasing the R1 Dvds soonafter,

There should something special along the lines of the R1 Eureka Seven special edition releases (I hope).

For London-types, the Sci-Fi Channel Film Fest is next month (well, May) and they've done something right in getting "The Girl Who Leapt Through Time", the latest Appleseed film and "Tekkon Kinkreet" for the anime all-nighter. Unfortunately they're also showing "Vexille" and only that film gets its own screening. Much as I'd love to see the new Appleseed (it'll be shit no doubt but will look stunning), I'm not paying £25 for the privilege.

It was a mix of sub and dub last year. Pretty sure Paprika and Le Chevalier D'Eon were shown with subs.

Can't remember now. Had to struggle to stay awake through the final film which was FMA:COS, dubbed.

Having seen The Girl Who Leapt Through Time subbed I think watching it dubbed would only detract from the experience. I have sampled dubs before and they as a general rule are inferior to the subbed equivalent. Of course it's a different matter if you find reading the subs annoying, but I'm pretty much used to it by now, and find the English voice actors to be less appropriate.

I tend to lean towards subs, more than dubs. There are some pretty good dubs of anime though.

Let's save that argument for another time though.

It's still a fun night out. The seats were comfy and the audience was well-mannered.

Watching Highlander: TSFV dubbed was absolutely hilarious last year.

Saw Tekkonkinkreet on Dvd 2 days ago and it was incredible. Can't really pass up the chance to see it on the big screen.

I'll be booking my tickets tomorrow regardless of sub or dub.

You know nothing. Experience the PAIN of her singing. I can't even get past the first line of the song without cringing.

Although, the one thing that makes it worth it is when you discover the english lyrics translate into the dodgy line of "I just want to shower you with my adoration".

Can someone recommend me something, I haven't watched any new anime for a few months and have been only following the weekly Bleach and Naruto releases. The last series I watched was 'School Days' which was f**king awesome. I'm after something similar really, or something like Love Hina or Ichigo 100% that isn't pure filth and has a good story. Any suggestions, I'm not really after anything that is fantasy based.
