Isn't it! The early stuff is really well animated/paced. I love the vocal talent too, I can't imagine the characters sounding any different! It's all good until the Water 7 arc, really, then the animation goes a bit dodgy. It's alright now, although it seems like there's about 6 minutes of wasted time each week.

Just watched Spice and Wolf 12 - I'm quite excited to see how it ends, it's been a really interesting series and I've been very fond of the art direction. Nushi!

EDIT: oh, which video is the 'crazy' bones show? There are too many videos on that page!

Gundam 00 season finale: Oh man, that was absolutely fantastic. So much win!

Ribbons backstabbing Alejandro was wonderful. That little bitch is pure evil. Graham's GN Flag was awesome, even though it went down in less than a minute. I don't think Setsuna's had it though - that doesn't look like a definitive death scene.

But that post credits second season set up was just incredible. Ali is alive! Ribbons has his own team of Power Rangers! A new Earth Federation with mass produced GN suits! The OO Gundam! GRAHAM HAS A FUCKING CHAR MASK!! And right at the end... the OO Gundam!

But now we have to wait until October. FUCKING. OCTOBER.

Oh man, I hate having to wait this long! For SEED I only started watching it when SEED Destiny was halfway through, so I watched all of that, then the first half of SD, then had to wait week by week for the last 20 episodes. But now I have to wait till OCTOBER!?

Still, what an episode!

Chuffed that Graham is still alive, and yes, his GN Flag was immense. I especially loved how they allowed the GN Drive to shift from the powering the Flag to simply powering a badass beam saber! IMMENSE!

It seems as though Setsuna will still be alive. Bit annoyed that Ali is still alive though, he's a great character but allowing Lockon to get his revenge before dying made it an awesome death... Now he died whilst getting PWNed.

The mass produced GN Suits look pretty swish as well. Am I right in thinking that 0 Gundam is the mentallist one at the start, and 00 Gundam is a brand new suit?

I'm guessing that Allelujah has kicked the bucket as well, will have to watch the subbed version later so I actually know wtf was happening. But it appears as though only Tieria and Setsuna have survived, and all of the Gundams (except for the two at the end?) are gone.

The next season is going to be ace.

That's not Tieria in the end sequence though. It looks a lot like him, but that's definitely a female voice doing that 'humph'. There's a character called 'Regina Regatta' in the episode credits, played by Romi Park, so maybe it's a sibling of Tieria...

Yeah, I think you're right about the Tieria-ish person. Am I right in thinking that's Louise behind him/her?

I reckon Graham will probably have a Flag again. Either that, or a custom made GN unit similar to his GN Flag.

I hope they release some model kits, or a Revoltech of the Overflag, or the GN Flag.

Just watched the last episode of True Tears - thought it was fairly good, although the ending was a little unsatisfactory (!)

The 1/100 Overflag kit's out in May. They're releasing "Fix Figuration" figures from 00, which are high detail action figures, starting with the Exia.

I just finished episode 22 of Clannad, and I find Piro's criticisms rather shallow and pedantic. The art style used for Nagisa is quite common/standard practice for Key productions. In addition, the lack of

a kiss

is kind of in tune with the general tone.

What's all this talk of a 23rd episode though? A Summer special of sorts? Who subbed it?

EDIT: Found the 23rd episode. I'll leave the movie as people have said it contains second season spoilers.

It sort of picks up where they left off from 22 I guess, although yeah more of a summer special type thing. A bit more

Tomoya/Nagisa related shenanigans with some Sunohara and Mei stuff thrown in.

Much lighter in tone as well. The subs are from the usual people as well. There's a final dvd only episode coming as well, to be included on the last dvd. It'll probably be a similar sort of thing to episode 23.

I'm following everything except about like 5 series. ^_^ Of course, it depends on people subbing the series though.

I have heard of one group on it at least. So there shouldn't be any problems except maybe the release speed. And if all else fails? Shinsen will probably pick up every show going :(

Ureshii? We can but hope they'll be faster than they were with Dennou Coil. You're probably right about Shinsen; they'll pick it up then suddenly stop after about 1/3 of the series. :(

Edit: /a/'s a bad influence Piro. So much rage and spoilers. Although they appreciate Aria so I dunno....

Yeah. To be fair to Ureshii, Dennou Coil had quite a few signs in each episode and with groups being the way they are those can take time to do. When the show is fairly "easy" to do they've been relatively brisk. We've just gotta hope it's the case here. Also to be fair to Shinsen (something I'm not always ^_^) they did Kemonozume quickly and they do keep up pace with one or two shows per season. Again just gotta hope this is one of them.

Yeah, the only thing I can imagine worse than working on than Dennou Coil would be SZS. I have a (small) ammount of respect for Shinsen since they do pick up some of the stuff that other people just won't touch (like Oh Edo Rocket) but they really do suck at translation sometimes. Granted I only know a few simple phrases but when you see them being mistranslated it makes you wonder.

No idea about geass but I think menclave said they might pick it up. Possibly your-mom subs may appear again like they did with the first series.

Macross so far has Anime in Action/Infinite Zero, Shinsen and Seiyan subs all going for it.

I'm hoping Macross is in hd. Geass, I don't care since it'll all be about fucking Suzaku anyway the little scrote that he is. It's all about Orange!

You require no knowledge of previous Macross series to watch Frontier. It would be advisable to watch the first episode they released last year however. ^_^

building the largest Pinky shrine ever so he can sit in there and be the emo little arse that he is while pondering how he claims to be a pacifist yet goes around murdering the shit out of people.
