School Rumble no contest.

Pretty good for the genre. I'm not watching Clannad until it's finished, but I like it more than Sola and Air, but not as much as Kanon (2006). It's better than School Days though. I've watched five episodes of that and I just want it to die. I may be drunk right now but the animation sucks, the characters are all irritating and the VA playing the girl who "doesn't" fancy Makoto sounds like she's 40. And Makoto is a prick with an ill-fitting uniform.

School Days is an excellent comedy I'll have you know

Gundam 00 20:

They really keep shitting all over Saji, don't they? First his girlfriend, then his sister. Poor bastard's going to go insane. The GN-X suits are awesome though, looks like Patrick might actually get one over the Gundams next week.

When exactly is Saji gonna link into the main story at all??

also GN-X and the GN-arms psh

only a few episodes left now though....

My guess is that he'll go to work on the space elevator as part of his engineering course. Since spaceborne structures have a habit of being sabotaged in Gundam, I reckon the space elevator will be attacked at some point, and he'll be stuck on it. Celestial Being'll show up, and somehow Saji will find out that Setsuna is a Gundam pilot. A bit Code Geass-ish, but it'd work for me.

He'll end up being a Gundam or Anti-Gundam pilot, or something. He's obviously there for the whole 'vicious circle' thing.

I'm hoping that they don't go down that road for once. It'd be quite for his story to just be something that's occurring at the same time as the Gundam battles and is there to show us how one particular person is affected by the actions of Celestial Being and the new UNA.

Looking forward to seeing Gundam Arms, and more of the GN-X stuff. So that's 10 of the GN drives accounted for...

It's inevitable and you know it!

and I thought all of the new suits are the same?

He's too much of a pussy to be a pilot. At most, he'd be an engineer for the Union, if he did sign up for the military.

Trailer up for the new Oshii film Sky Crawlers over at Twitch and possibly elsewhere:

Sky Crawlers

Out in August, which means the London Film Festival might show it or even the Sci-Fi Channel Film Festival in 2009. Failing that, just wait for the inevitable fansubs. Which is what everyone is going to do anyway, so I'll just shut up now.

Due to studies I am yet to be up to date with the three shows I'm following, however I did manage to watch episode 22 of Code Geass and

the massacre order. What a surprise that was, I feel kinda guilty to say I lol'd at how quickly it all came crashing down.

I stumbled across it, it looked like it had potential, but alas, it's not worth my time...

What do you recommend then Meh?

Well if you like that kind of show, which you do seem to, then give it a shot. It's not exactly that long. I haven't seen the second season past episode 1 yet but I thought the first season was quite enjoyable albeit very predictable. I wouldn't really describe it as a harem show myself but whatever.

Macross Frontier, obv.

When there's more episodes, like.

Seen episode 1 already , try again.

Oh, it was indeed hilarious seeing

Euffie go batshit insane, but don't worry, even more lulz is to come. Prepare yourself. Not the bad kind of lulz, like School Days, genuinely good lulz.

....I have no idea what the fuck i'm on about, except Code Geass had some brilliant last few episodes.

So yeah, rather than a full series, it seems it's just going to be a couple of ova episodes.

Also, finally got round to watching the first ep of Macross Frontier. Looking much fun. :( Wish they'd hurry up and announce the full spring line-up though. I like to know what I'm getting excited about.
