Also, I watched all off Moyashimon on monday. It was... unique. I found it nice but very boring for the first 6 or so episodes, but it got VERY good after episode 7-11.

See, I found about

JESUS CHRIST TRAP KEI!

near the start after like 2 episodes, so once I knew something like that was going to happen, I just had to stick with it. Didn't disappoint in the end though. :P

That's the only reason I decided to watch it pretty much :P

Also, Clannad 17:

SWEET JESUS KYOU FANSERVICE YES AND TOMOYO IS AWESOME

And Tomoya ripping off his shirt to counteract being locked inside a gym storage room with Kyou and bathing in manly sunlight was excellent too

I'm tempted to stop with Geass in order to catch up with Clannad so I can discuss it . Both so good... although I imagine I'll just pursue my current policy and watch whichever takes my fancy at the time (I tend to watch Hayate eps. pretty soon after I download them for some reason) which means Geass has been getting most of the love recently, even though I'm only ten episodes in.

Sunohara is the best character in Clannad.

Don't even try to say he isn't or he will defeat you in combat.

What annoys me about Clannad is although we have all this lovely developement with Kyou and Tomoyo (fan favourites) the show continually reminds us that Nagisa is the main girl and WILL win.

I liked the fuko arc. Although really they could have cut a couple of episodes from fuko's and kotomi's arcs. Myeh, we'll have to see how they handle the last bit. I can't really bitch about it until I've seen it all.

I'm watching Okawari and Spice and Wolf. Okawari's a bit, hmm. Good in bits but not with enough style as the previous series. Hosaka's still amazing in it though.

Spice and Wolf is great fun. Interesting character developments and an interesting storyline. Also, I love the op song way too much.

Edit: Also, this is probably for imp alone but expect delays on zoku sayonara zetsubou sensei. Apparently the translator of afk and his minions are in an arguement over what they should be releasing. They want to focus on zszs as top but the translator wants to focus on clannad because he prefers it. So nothing's being done at the moment. :(

Agreed on everything you just said.

Also, the afk subs leader is pretty much the one who does everything, without him they wouldn't be able to exist, so kicking him out isn't an option. He single handely did the Haruhi subs. I don't know why he doesn't want to focus on zszs though. SS-Eclipse pretty much own Clannad subs wise.

Yeah so I was reading last night. Can't be helped though if he prefers to do Clannad for his own satisfaction though. When you reall consider it, szs has an insane ammount of random kanji floating around to be translated as well as the regular dialogue so it's no wonder if he'd prefer to do something easier. Not sure if it's better of worse than the number of blackboard changes in Pani Poni Dash.

It's silly is the best way I can think to describe it. All the chicks in it bar one have fairly giant tits for no reason, the plot is wildly illogical and strange, one of the main evil male leads is the biggest emo whining crazy cunt ever and the cg is a bit rubbish to say the least. Worth a lol if you're after something to watch.

Not really many action series this season. Seems to mainly harem and fan-service stuff. Persona 3 has some vague actiony stuff going on I think. There's always stuff from last season like Seirei no Moribitio and Oh! Edo Rocket I guess too. Oh and Baccano which is awesome.

Reminds me I should clear some stuff from my anime list before april. Seems to be a fair ammount of stuff I'll be watching in spring and they've not even confirmed the line up.

Hmm... well they're a good balance between speed and quality but I do prefer afk's subs in most cases even though they're sometimes guilty of over-americanizig(yeah I probably made up that word) the subs. I mainly get SS-Eclipse to get my fix asap and I usually keep afk's so personally I hope they do keep up with the subs of it. Also I think they work from the widescreen raws for Clannad which are about three weeks behind the normal raws and that's probably another reason why they've fallen behind. In the end though I just want them to be ready for Haruhi again, so they do a good job on it like last time but I've not doubt there'll be a million other groups wanting to jump on the bandwagon when the time comes. Actually I lie, I usually get the DVD rips for keeps now that I think about it.

I do watch a Okawari as well but so far I've not been feeling it even though I said the same thing for most of the first season (that has still been largely better than this one). They need more Hosaka and the other Minami brothers IMO. Less of the other riff-raff. Perhaps it's changed though, because episode 3 was the last one I saw...

As for Moyashimon, I absolutely loved it from start to finish but yeah it really did get better in the second half of the show. The whole spring festival thing was amazing. I'd recommend it to imp if he's still around and hasn't already seen it. As I said elsewhere it sort of reminded me of H&C (very tenuous I admit) only much more focus on the comedy. I think it'd be something he'd like.

And yeah Clannad 17 was amazing :)

After I managed to delete my eps of one piece that I was watching, I started work on Bleach while I waited for them to re download (the kaizoku tracker has worryingly random speeds for me). So far I've gone from ep 110 to 123, and I'm planning to stop at 143 (end of the arc) to go back to One Piece.

One thing annoys me about the long running shows like Naruto and Bleach. The opening sequences are all over the place. Take Naruto Shippuden, both opening titles have heavily featured

Sasuke who has only appeared properly in the show this week (ep45), but he's shown in the ops in his new look

. Bleach is as bad with the 6th op featuring spoiler for the next arc which doesn't start until the next op theme! (23 eps away from the start of the op's use, to the next arc).

Regarding Bleach, I've only just relalised the soundtrack is done by Shiro Sagisu of Evangelion fame (who also did the orchestral arrangements for Final Fantasy VI Grand Finale)

It's probably meant to be more of a tease or hook to keep you watching if you've been following the series previously. I seem to remember back in the SS arc of Bleach they kept putting images of

Ichigo's Hollow form in there

, showing it'd be part of the plot. Bit of a spoiler but I guess it's to get people hyped.

I guess, but why not stick with something that has relevance? With Naruto it's not so much that they include that image (after all, it's the cause of the events), more that they do so as heavily as they do. The Bleach example I mentioned (and indeed yours) is just taking the piss.

How/When do peoplewatch their anime? Mine is amlost entirely before going to bed or if I've woken up early/cant sleep now that I have a mac mini hooked up to my tv. I queue up 10eps of a show in a VLC playlist, whack it in full screen and then just pause it as required. I've gone from watching 1ep a week (shippuden) to about 15. In fact right now, I'm off to watch some Bleach while sitting in a nice comfy warm bed and drinking tea :)

It's hardly going to intice people to watch if they're seeing stuff they already know is it? :( Thinking about it, they could be a bit more subtle with it but if it's not done right too many people will just ignore it. Eh, what can you do?

I usually watch it in the evenings too although at the moment, I've gotten into the habit of watching everything as it appears and downloads so I can keep on top of it. My biggest problem is when I've picked up a batch of something or have abandoned a series in the middle of it. I find it really hard to put in the focus to watch the rest of the half series like that. Hence why my anime list has 87 series on hold or on plan to watch. I'll get round to them one day. :)

Tell me about it. I used to be on top of things and then I started saving episodes for another day or just delaying watching them. Before I knew it I had too much to keep up with and not enough time and then all of a sudden I fell behind on the new stuff and it just grew. I've got a huge amount to get through going as far back as Hataraki Man, Bartender etc... which I've not touched and other shows which I've left hanging in the middle or near the end. I'll get caught up one day though... I hope.

Starts iffy, picks up at episode 8 but finally fails again in the last arc which was supposed to be amazing by giving it a god awful anime adaptation end involving the most worthless scrote of a character since Shnji. The manga does it better if you're interested in the story.

Holy shit, Gundam 00 18 is dark.

Nena spies Louise's cousin's wedding from her Gundam, gets huffy because they're having a party and she's 'working', and promptly blasts the fuck out of the place. Louise's parents are killed, and she loses a hand. I'm not even joking.
