True. But we've already seen how an entire army of upgraded Flags can't even pwn one Gundam, and that's with ace tactics. Unless something changes, the fights are going to be extremely one sided unless they send every single mobile suit in the world after the Gundams...

It's only really SEED that had the 'bad guys' making their own Gundams. Wing had the Epyon, but that was just Treize being all romantic about war. Every other series had bigger and meaner versions of the grunt suits as their 'Gundams'.

The Overflags didn't really get a decent first showing. It's only that Joshua fella who made a mistake, the other guys did get shot in the back.

Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei must be one of the most difficult shows to sub, I A.F.K. Good show this week, but I still spend most of my time watching it just thinking "so. weird. so. weird."

First half of the ep had me in a headache trying to pay attention to the radio show, what the girl was saying and noticing all the details in the backgorund. (One piece figures ftw!)

Great fun to watch even if it makes no sense.

From that pic, it's actually quite disturbing how many of them I recognise. Can't beat Rena from Higurashi though.

Shigofumi really is quite good. I thought it wussed out a bit in episode 2

. But I think it's a pretty consistently interesting show. There are some beautiful shots in there and the general aesthetic of the show is pretty appealing. I'm definitely going to keep watching this series.

I think the moment that sealed the deal for me was the abortion's bloody hand print shigofumi. Genius, if a little pro-life for my tastes.

Geass is excellent, and season 2 looks like it is going to better than season 1, so you should finish season 1 so you can watch season 2

Apparently ADV are going with Blu-Ray for their hi-def stuff when they get around to it. Considering that with the american anime business alledgedly imploding and with ADV making heavy cutbacks at the moment and having seemingly dropped (or been forced to drop) a bunch of licenses, I'd be surprised if they are around long enough to make any Blu-Ray releases

Is there really that much of a rush? AniDB has Code Geass's second season slated as starting in April... but yes, I will try and make time to watch a little more!

I think the Gundam Thrones are just way too overpowered. That crazy GN Dispersal thing, and the super duper destroy absolutely everything without a crazy recharge time gun are just far too much.

At least in Gundam Wing, Duo & Co whinged and complained at how ruddy difficult it was to smoke the mobile suits without killing the pilots. In SEED/SEED Destiny it was just effortless. Cool... but effortless.

It was cool the first time, before they re-used the animation for every episode that followed. I'm convinced Fukuda must have been skimming off the animation budget and spent it on a pile of cocaine so big it had a ski lift.

The big cannon isn't anything special, especially when it relies on the massive GN particle tank the chick has, when he's alone it's like the sniper guy's gun (I think I've forgotten everyone's name in it.... )

As for SEED I remember it as being so brutal because of all of the mass deaths they had on each side...although the SEED thing was overdone, those animations were so damn boring...

Wolf and Spice 5 - Not much happened, but it was a nice episode anyway

Bamboo Blade 18 - Awesome episode, simply because it focused on Tamaki for a lot of it

Minami-ke Okawari 5 - Nice episode, but the best part was easily the 2-3 seconds of Hosaka

Clannad 17 looks very interesting...

Also, I watched all off Moyashimon on monday. It was... unique. I found it nice but very boring for the first 6 or so episodes, but it got VERY good after episode 7-11.
