DO IT NOW! I'd be rewatching it now after having mentioned it so many times in the past month but I've only just recently finished rewatching it. :o That and I have to catch back up with the autumn seasons releases since I'm behind AGAIN. ;)

Or you could join me and (possibly) Zapp$$ter in sampling the new winter season.

Yeah, I'm sampling. Got a lot more time this week than I thought I would so I've been mainly catching up on some older shows like Gunfam 00 and ef. The new shows aren't bad so far though and in some cases pleasantly surprising.

edit: Also if the translations I've read are correct there's gonna be a recap episode in Gundam 00 soon ;)

Urgh... I hate recap episodes. It's fair enough if they have a recap episode if the show has been on off the TV for a month or two just to remind everyone of what has happened, but a recap episode now? ;)

EDIT: Aha, just finished reading an issue of Gundam 00F, that Fon Spark fellow seems like an interesting character. I wonder when and if he'll be introduced into the series, or if Gundam 00F will be like Astray and just run alongside 00 :o

Maybe next week once my dissertation is finally done with!

Is anything good in the new season so far? I'm interested in Porfy no Nagai Tabi, Noramimi and Moegaku but I don't think they've been subbed yet. I'd quite like to watch the Persona adaption, but I'd like to play through the videogame first.

The recap episodes were particularly ridiculous in Gundam SEED and Destiny, when most of the episodes were taken up with flashback footage. :o

Spice and Wolf seems to be quite good. There's also a couple of harem type shows that could bear a glance but not essential. And of course there's Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei second series...

Edit: First details of robots and characters of season 2 geass are out (in japanese). Couldn't understand much but I did manage to work out one new characters name which made me laugh:

SPOILER!!

Roro Lamperouch. So yet another brother of Lelouch appearing.

New Masaaki Yuasa (Mind Game, Kemonozume) show called Kaiba announced for April this year! The Spring just got better ;) Loved Kemonozume so I'll definitely be keeping an eye on what he's going to do with this one. Not much else in the way of info other than that it will be a sci-fi love story.

http://www.wowow.co.jp/anime/kaiba/ <--- website, nothing much on it though apart from a single splash image I guess you'd call it.

Maybe it's supposed to be

Rolo

? I think his character art has been around for a while.

Edit: I'll give spice and wolf a go. ;)

Isn't Lamperouch the fake name he came up with though?

(I tend to miss out details when I watch an anime within a 3 day span ;))

So whats good nowadays, finished Claymore which I loved, however, anything similar action horror etc?

Off the top of my head Ergo Proxy and Elfen Lied probably come under the category action-horror, they're not exactly that recent though.

If you liked Claymore so much you could have a look at the manga which goes on further with the storyline (I personally found the end of Claymore, like so many manga to anime adaptations, quite unfulfilling, especially when compared with the rest of the series).

I would put Berserk in this category too as its pretty gruesome in places with the violence. It rocks too which also helps.

It's painful! The main character is quite possibley the biggest bastard that ever existed ever and I've only seen 2 eps. I did however look at the game cg endings for it though. Seems no matter which way they went it turns into a bit of a violent Higurashi-fest. :P

I've heard quite mixed things about the series... I've downloaded it but yet to watch it, I'd like to hear your opinion on it...

The only opinion I have of it is based on 4chan /a/'s board... They seem to like Makoto (main character)... so he probably is a bastard.

From the first episode, it's worth watching. Then again, I watch everything :(
