I know he was only there for 8 seconds but even for those 8 seconds I wanted to murder him. Even after that it was just so laughable.

Allejuah and his hair swings, Tieria and his even gayer looking gundam, the fact they just about got owned by a bunch of shit-ass Zaku's and the amazing line "why are the meisters so imperfect?" even though it's obvious they chose all 4 of them from the slightly mental bin

A shinn clone and a guy with a mask and a red gundam is all that's needed now.

They got caught out because Sergei's been doing his homework for the last eight episodes. At the beginning of the last episode, it said that there's been four months of Celestial Being interventions, so that's four months for Sergei to plan an attack. And the Tieren pilots weren't just any old scrubs - it's mentioned in either this episode or the last one (can't remember) that Sergei hand picked this team from the HRL's best pilots. Thirty-five aces and a jacked-up genetically-enhanced human weapon sound like a fair match for four Gundams. The only reason that the Ptolemaios and the Gundams managed to escape was because of two things that Sergei had no idea about - Hallelujah and the Nadleeh.

That's what's Gundam's all about though! They both come under the secret abilities to unlock for characters, I thought Tieria was going to go SEED the way his eyes changed actually

Err, is there any point in going back to watching Bleach? OP 6 makes it look pretty fucking good again.

Which OP is that, Alones or After Dark?

Yeah, it's getting pretty good, the pace at the moment is very fast, if you miss out the 3 episode mini filler arc you should enjoy it if you like Bleach.

Thanks to those people who've been talking about Baccano! Now that scripts for many of the tv shows in the states have dried up I've been looking for something else to download and watch and reading the praise for Baccano I thought I'd try it out. What a fantastic series, I loved the characters and the way the story was told flashing back and forth slowly painting the picture of what happened on the train and why. Brilliant. Now, is there anything else in that league that's available to download? What else would you reccomend for someone who's taken roughly a two year break from watching anime?

The one which has a load of Orihime in it with a grainy picture. Looks dead nice.

I can't remember which one that is.

Are you talking about the current one, or the one where it opens with Kon singing? Or not that one at all?

That's the one.

Is that Aizen at the front of all those evil-looking blokes? He looks totally different without glasses.

Are you after something similar to Baccano or just something equally awesome? I can't really think of anything similar to baccano. Perhaps Gungrave for the gangster-ish aspect. If you're after awesome, look into either Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann or Mushi-shi.

Does anyone know when the English dubbed version of Gurenn Lagann is due?

Best I can find is a pre-order in North America for the first volume for the 26th of February.

Like Mr Jeff said, I can't really think of anything similar, but in terms of what's been awesome in the last two years I'd also recommend:

Films:

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time

Paprika

Series:

Dennou Coil

Nodame Cantabile

Paradise Kiss

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya

Code Geass

None of these are remotely similar in theme or style, but they are all awesome. Well, maybe Haruhi is similar in the way the story is told anachronistically.

Finished Moster - it's a f*cking epic anime with a very strong storyline and dark enough to blow Death Note out of the water. It's got the kind of story I would expect in a 5000 page novel to have and I think everyone has to watch it. Johan is the ultimate villain, I don't think I've seen anyone quite as evil as him in any anime.

He sent a little orphan kid into a red light district to find their mum - how awesomely evil is that?
