Good Lord, in ep. 4 of Myself: Yourself...

They did the 'guy accidentally falls onto girl, followed by someone entering' gag again! Not to mention the discussion of growing breasts was pretty cringeworthy. Nevertheless we did get a nice little scene with the crying, and the ominous zoom out at the end... It would be an interesting twist if the protagonist had somehow been burned by a previous relationship (something pretty uncommon afaik in most anime).

I did tell you it was fairly meh. :) Although you did get a hint of

omg twincest

from whats his name.

Edit: Yes, I know. What an amazingly clear description of the person I meant.

Clear as crystal... I suppose

Twincest, what an amazing portmanteau

would make the series a bit darker/more interesting?/weirder...

What was the filler? I remember all the Shino stuff from the manga...

Do you mean the Gai stuff at the start? That was really well animated, and if it was in the manga, it was definitely embellished upon here.

They doubled the Team Kurenai scene, and the bit at the beginning. But doing this made it a lot better. More Hinata is always a good thing <_<

The upcoming Sai arc will have a fair amount of fillers, but this could be good because the manga wasn't that great. It's an arc which can serve to make good fillers, unlike the Rescue Gaara arc where they didn't fit at all.

Also, I heard something about a NGE live action movie? Is this bullshit or not?

Rumblings of a live action movie for NGE have been going around for ages, as far as I know there may be some truth to them.

Also, episode five of Myself; Yourself, near the end

That really just got damned creepy, I still think that the female with the long-black hair needs to learn some character development, in fact quite a few of them do, but its starting to get interesting nevertheless...

Yeah, that sucked.

That was always going to happen, it's a total lift from Wing. ^_^ Interesting to see a bit of internal friction in the team - judging from his no-nonsense approach to Celestial Being's operations, I reckon Tieria has a deeper connection to that Schehnberg fellow from the first episode's video tape.

From how serious Tieiria is about the orders from Veda, the Ptolemaios's computer, I'll bargain that he's either a direct descendant or a clone of Schehnberg, and Veda is Schehnberg's brain hooked up to the ship or something. You know what Gundam shows are like.

Bit of fighting. Ace. New predicition of

Setsuna and the young queeny woman(who's probably the queen of the country setsuna was fighting in) getting together

.

Was the fact that they're canoodling in the opening titles sequence not enough of a clue for you then?

Yes and no.

Yes in that taken on its own the anime is excellant.

No in that it ends just as the story is really getting going.

If you do watch it, do yourself a favour and read the manga right after.

That's a good idea in theory, but considering that the anime chops out major characters, he'll be left thinking "WHO?!"

Also, the manga starts off with Guts shagging a demon.

The anime doesn't.

Manga wins.

He should do himself a favour and pay a visit to onemanga.com.

I found the manga a bit, erm, boring. Bit like Gantz, felt like there wasn't really a story behind it. Just an excuse to draw naked girls fucking naked supermen.

For an 'adult' manga I expect more.

Gantz is amazing. Recently I've read 270 or something chapters of it. Really, it gets very very addictive. Especially when the rules begin to change...

And there's a lot more to Berserk than women with their tits out.

Except that chapter which consisted ENTIRELY of fucking.

That was ace.

I've read all but the last 4-5 chapters of Gantz, and in all that time they've not explained anything about what it's all about. Instead of that they show people raping dead aliens. That's my problem with it - there are some interesting fights, but the actual story doesn't progress.

Berserk, I've read the first volume of and it felt very much link Gantz (i.e. no substance). Seen the anime, of course.

So Anime good cos it has lots of story elements taken out yet the manga is bad because it tells the exact same story in far more detail except that it's far more brutal?
