You're joking? their solution was to fight harder....

No thoughts about running away to one location and swapping enemies, no, they fought for a stand off until they were tired and then decided to....fight harder.......

Exactly, filllershit. So ff/ffwd through it.

Mangas getting good..

I'm just nearing the end Death Note & was wondering if anyone had seen the 2 live action movies that were recently released?

Are they any good?

I thought they were a pretty good adaptation, didn't have the same problems of stagnation as the series, it's not really 2 movies though, 2 parts of one

I've watched part one - I really didn't like it. I didn't really like the anime adaption that much though.

Sayonara seems to have gone downhill the last few episodes. It seems like it consists entirely of panty shots. <_<

It's still a hundred times better than the Bleach anime, which has now turned into total shite.

Was, it was shite, man. It's now back on the manga track with a decent OP to boot.

You should read the manga. ^_^ Absolute garbage at the minute.

It's the 21st century Dragonball Z. That's both a good and bad thing. If you want it to improve, wait until the

war

kicks off this winter...actually it'll probably next winter by the way the current arc is being dripfed to readers.

The One Piece, Eyeshield 21 and D.Gray-Man mangas are worth checking out if some of you still aren't reading them.

I follow the Bleach anime and I would say currently i'm enjoying it more than Naruto. Well the last episode wasn't the best of episodes, but apart from that it seems to have a fairly fast pace and the plot is going well. Not like Naruto where the main character gets shat on by Kishimoto who seems to have an Uchiha fetish (The manga should be renamed Sasuke).

Also watching Death Note atm, and it's very enjoyable. Light is such a evil genius ^_^

Since Sasuke came 1st in the last Naruto character poll, Kishimoto is just giving the fans what they want.

Nah, the anime's shit now. They've inserted filler between real eps. Worse though is that they've put all this 'comedy' crap. They keep making stuff up with Kon and the other fillershit characters, can't watch it...

Nothing touched One Piece still, IMHO.

Gundam 00 ep3:

I'm loving all of the references to real life politics. Last week it was the Tamil Tigers, now it's the IRA. I can't wait for the inevitable Celestial Being/al-Qaeda showdown, with Setsuna taking on Osama Bin Gundam.

Can't argue with the above post.

Anyway Japantor has the new OPs of Bleach, Naruto and One Piece up for viewing:

http://www.japanator.com/weekend-japanatai...ion--6727.phtml

They also have two short English subbed clips of Rebuild of Evangelion 1.0 (The first new remake) up for viewing.

The topmost clip of the three should be of most interest as it's the new English subbed trailer for the second movie in the remake series (Evangelion 2.0):

Beware Eva 2.0 spoilers...etc.

What's the best subbing group for Gundam 00?

I know Nyoro~n are doing it, I've no idea on any other ones. There's the odd spelling mistake (and apparently a mistranslation of a line in episode three which makes a certain character look really gay), but it's pretty good.

It's supposed to be pretty bad actually. Apparently the guy makes up a lot of his lines and in one instance babelfish gave a more accurate translation. I'd recommend some of the others though. From what I've been told anyone but Nyoro~n's should be fine.

OMG so the Union guys aren't gay???

I was gonna say something what with their trap as well, they really seemed like they were pushing boundaries with this new series <_<

Wired, The American science and technology magazine has a ''Inside Japan's Manga Industry'' article up online. It pretty much paints the doujinshi movement as the future of manga.

It's a interesting read:

http://www.wired.com/techbiz/media/magazine/15-11/ff_manga

Although...

The paperback editions of Bleach, a series about a ghost-spotting teenager that has been running in Weekly Shonen Jump for the past six years, have sold some 46 million copies (in a country of 127 million people).

Impressive sales for a series about...Ghost-spotting? :(
