Gurren Lagann 20 was ace!

I must say I concur wholeheartedly. I was somewhat pleasantly suprised and impressed by Simon's hand-to-hand combat skills,

going head to head with Viral of all people. Although The return of Yoko was relatively predictable it was also pretty cool.

Still yet to touch Gurren lagann after episode 17. *cough*

Watched the second episode of Baccano and I'm really enjoying it but I don't really know why. Maybe it's just because the characters are so interesting. Although if that blonde girl Miria had squealed one more thing I might have cried in pain. :ph34r:

not seen too many dreadful OP's but the theme song from black lagoon has to be one of the worst things i've ever heard! - hysterical goth / NIN / metal cliches uncomfortably misconstrued and crammed into a minute of matrix wannabe "techno"

has anyone seen the video for "sora iro days' - the OP song from gurren lagann?? the depths of dullness portrayed in this video go off the scale of human comprehension, the story board must have consisted of one image.

Yeah? - c'mon it wasn't that bad ;) It's the classic story. Boy finds car, car is possessed by an apparent malevolent spirit , boy finds girl, boy happens to have the same name as her dead brother who died in the same car, and best mate takes up smoking while failing year at school. All set to the back drop of stretch of motorway in Tokyo... Duh! Othello, King Lear, Chushingura and Wangan Midnight :lol: Plus, it has 911 Turbo in it - which happens to be the best car ever.

In seriousness - none of it bothered me in bad way. I honestly didn't think it was shit. Although I'd be happy to investigate any Initial D substitute right now!

Sudo's sub of Darker than Black 16 is finally out. Woo! I have a few of the anon subs, but no episode 17, so I haven't watched any of them yet.

I've been reading One Piece v. 15 which just came out. :lol: One of my least favourite arcs, but it's still amazing.

Skypia? That's the only weak arc in it, IMHO. The work-up was good though, only got a bit average once they were actually there.

the bellamy OHKO - :lol:

but I was talking about Little Garden (well, it just ended) The Drum arc is pretty decent though. I don't think I'll get to Skypia for another ten volumes or so.

Chapter 81 is my favourite chapter ever. :) Unbelievabley fucking cheesy but goddamn. :lol:
