Watch it! It rocks!

There are 319 episodes out now (320 if you include this weeks, I guess), but they average about 20mins of new material each episode. There are about 100hrs of episodes.

The only way I will see them is if I buy Singapore imports. But I'm a bit hesitant to do that as it tends to be £25 on average for around 50 episodes. If a huge lot of that is going to be this filler is there really any point?

Don't you have broadband? We can always do something along the lines of the swapshop if that's the case..

Oh, I'm glad I stuck with Claymore.

Episode 7 was pure win.

:( It's was funny how when it started everyone was pretty much "yeah it's allright I guess" then the instant it hit episode 7/8 everyone suddenly really got into it.

Lofarius: Gungrave starts of really slowly. About episode 9 maybe? It starts getting a bit better. It's a fairly decent show in the end although I think the beginning section is a tad too long and dull.

Still not watched last week's Gurren-Lagann. Episode 17 depressed me and it was nowhere near as enjoyable as it was before. :)

I would advice you to get it mate, or even better, as said above try and download the episodes and see if you like them. Dont be intimidated by the big number of episodes as you will get through them pretty quickly (as many of my friends did) if you like them ofcourse.

Its an incredible watch, and it keeps getting better as you follow it.

With all this One Piece love going around I gave in and read the first few chapters of the manga.

Bastards! I now have 440 chapters to download! :(

466! :) Yay! I think it's all gold, except for the Skypeia arc, which is from chapter 237 to 302. It's still enjoyable, but not quite up to standard.

okay, well, I propose a deal, I'll watch Higurashi 4 if you watch Gurren Lagann 18. I think things are about to get interesting again in episode 19.

although the whole thing about Kamina saying Simon will drill through the heavens is a tad too conveniently made reality by the fact the moon is going to crash into the planet.

Okay I'm going to watch Higurashi now, so...

Well it's a bit late but I blame the fact I was up until half 4 in the morning reading the first 100 chapters of one piece because of you. I'll give GL 18 a go in a bit. It had better be good!

:(

Sir, I salute you!

If I'm not mistaken, they get into the grand line at around that mark, right? Ooh, there's some good stuff coming up!

Higurashi four was alright. I have a feeling things are about to get slightly more unsettling though! It's kinda weird watching the show as a weekly now as I'm used to judging each arc as a whole, as opposed to individual episodes.

The show's really grown on me. First bunch of episodes were ALLLRIIIGGHHHTTT...

Then it goes all backstory and rather Berserk-meets-Dragonball Z.

Fucking hate the OP, though. Emo bastard singer can piss off.

Too true.

I'm actually a bit surprised you made it to episodes 7/8 without much prompting, I dropped the show after episode 4 and only picked it back up after all the hype around that episode. To be honest I don't think it's gotten close to that episode since then, but it's been far far better than the first 5 episodes, that's for sure. Still, I think the current arc is shaping up to be pretty interesting.

Is anyone still keeping up with Bokurano? I'm about to watch the two episodes Triad released today.

Hmm. Claymore's quite odd. For some reason, they have these MEGA POWERFUL HALF-DEMONS, which is ALL COOL AND SHIT, but they're all ticking time-bombs of demonic insanity and randomly try to kill each other. Just recruit normal people, you crazy organisation leader-types.

I mean, it makes for cool fight scenes, but the Yoma seem to be completely irrelevant now.

You know we've (we being other forumites) already had this exact conversation concerning the quality of the Organisation's recruits and their psychological stability earlier in the thread.

Great minds 'n all that :) .

EDIT:

In fact twenty pages ago...

QUOTE(Bibly @ Jun 29 2007, 12:08 AM) *

The Organisation should really go looking for Claymores who weren't originally severely mentally/emotionally damaged though, they have such terrible luck with powerful single digit warriors going crazy after failing and remembering their lost loved ones, if only they tried to recruit more well-adjusted members of society into their organisation then maybe this sort of thing wouldn't happen rolleyes.gif.

To be fair, considering the organisation has such a bad stigma due to the Claymores being half Yoma I think it would be hard for them to recruit from normal members of society, remember it is in a medieval setting so witch hunts and crazy religious crusades would be the peasant mentality !!

(Sounds like a pretty good arguement to me at least xD)

Another day, another marathon of one piece resulting me being awake at 4 in the morning reading it all beacuse of imp. It's amazing. It's really really cheesily bad yet somehow it's so utterly amazing. <_< Only 26 chapters till I've caught up.
