Lost - The Full Series Thread

Mercenarri, where are those questions from? My policy for spoilers is that anything said/released by the creators isn't a spoiler, and I can read it ... anything else I try and avoid ...

Quite a long stream of yes no questions about what happens in the first episode. Just from somebody who knows what happens, I'd imagine.

Is there a way to stream the opening episode live? I've waited a year but there is no way I can wait one more day, come feb 2.

Wasn't viable last time, I would usually stay up until it was on the torrent sites but 2 hour episode plus the extra encoding time might make me late for college. If I find a stream I'll post it in here.

A reliable spoiler source called DarkUFO made a thread here for people to ask yes and no questions to one of his "contacts". Then he compiled a list of yes and no answers (I haven't read any of it).

The biggest issues with spoilers will be the party on the beach thing they're having in Hawaii where they show the premiere a couple of days before it goes out on TV. They haven't done it since season 3, but it's back this year. Just don't go into any Lost thread unless you know spoilers won't be posted (here, I guess, unless someone wants to be a complete dick).

Obviously spoilers if you haven't seen Seasons 1-5, but surely you should have if you're here. The song also has a good point to make - how can they answer all those questions in one season?

Easy. They won't. They've said so.

What about people talking about it at work, billboard adverts which will inevitably be around near the finale, Sky adverts etc? There's loads of options for spoilers.

I'm sure it will be fine. Might watch the two part opener when it is broadcast though. ;)

I hope the whole series is just everyone going about their normal business in the altered timeline, with no mention of the island or anything. :eyebrows:

But no doubt it'll be everyone just kinda feeling the something is 'off' and they have to put it right somehow, like every time the continuum got mucked up in Star Trek and Guinan just knew it wasn't right.

I would avoid Sky then at all costs as they are terrible for giving away spoilers in their ad break teasers for this.

I'd also avoid Facebook and Twitter, as they're the places people will be spoiling left, right and centre, accidentally, or otherwise.

Tim, what point are you trying to make here? That this should be full of spoilers just in case someone on the bus starts talking about it?

The point he's trying to make is that trying to avoid finding out anything about episodes that have already aired (as in recording them and watching them in bulk later on) would be quite tricky.

He's not advocating anything about spoilers in here. Just that holding off watching them and not catching any of the big plot reveals accidentally from another source would be hard going.

I know I've said the same thing twice there in different ways, but I just wanted to make sure it was clear.
