Lost - The Full Series Thread

Did anyone ever mention the tail-ender with the short dark hair who went missing just before Anna-Lucia shot Shannon? Or did I miss something there?

Air Hostess? Well all the tail-enders talked about the Others taking them, so I guess that's a pretty straight-forward situation. Not sure what else is to be said, and so many things are left unexplained anyways

I wonder if the people kidnapped are going to turn up alive or dead?

McNeill - we also had an Anna Lucia flashback. Wasn't her mum played by Vasques from Aliens? The 2 hardest B-grade actors in the business, united at last! Pity they didn't team up to shoot the shit out of a gang of pimp drug dealers.

The Island is obviously something 'other wordly'. The only people on it seem to be certain people with crossed paths that were chosen to be put there.

This project, the bunkers, and just what this magnet thing is takes precedent over everything else for me right now. You have no idea how much I hope they explain everything properly.

No, Vasquez from Aliens is actress Jeanette Goldstein. Ana Lucia's mum was played by actress Rachel Ticotin of Total Recall and FX2 fame.

^I'm with the others (no, not those others!). I strolled in yesterday while the episode was downloading and inadvertantly read a spoiler. But I knew it was my fault for coming in here without thinking.

All well and good, yes.

However, I thought the rules that we laid out in here were that you spoiler any comments about the current show until 8pm on a Thursday evening, when more people are likely to have watched it - it's the way I've always treated this thread.

I come into this thread before 8pm to read comments about whether it was any good or not, which torrents to avoid, which ones to go for.

I'm not trying to be an arse for the sake of it, but I'm sure the above was how we certainly used to conduct ourselves in this thread.

EDIT: Yes, this is Goose's first post in the thread:

"This Thread for discussion of Lost - Season 2.

Right, new rules for the thread as this is going all over the place.

Season 1 - No Spoiler tags

Season 2 - No Spoiler tags for previous episodes

Current Season 2 Episode - Spoiler tags for upto early evening of the next day (Thursday)"

Bloody 'ell - it's simple: if people are ignoring the thread-maker's rules and are posting spoilers, fine - I won't come in 'til I've seen the episode.

All I'm saying is that we're up to episode 18 now and everything's been fine-and-dandy until this point.

I'm not trying to kick off or moan about it - just trying to establish if we've had any kind of sea change.

It's not that fucking hard to stick in a spoiler tag dickheads.

I don't mind seeing 'Great episode!' or two weeks ago reading about the audio kicking out of sync in a file online.

It's not as if people complain for having to open up a spoiler, is it?

It's a pain in the arse to 'click for spoiler' on every god damn post though, you selfish cunt :o

It's quite simple, the latest episode should (and is, right?) be put as the sub-title, and if you haven't yet watched that episode, stay out!

I think I was the one who came up with the idea for having a forum air time, but even still I never bother to come into the thread until after I've seen the latest episode... no offence, but it's just common sense.

People want to come in before seeing the current episode, often to get good warning of sync issues and stuff when its still too early for anyone to have commented on the torrent sites themselves.

Easy.

Now some Lost stuff to make it not so I'm just a moaning rambler...

The only way I can see them doing justice to Libby being a mental is that she was kind of 'stalking' Hurley, and followed him everywhere, right up until on the plane. In an earlier episode she did say to the broken leg dude how she was in Aspen with a 'cute guy', which is a tenuous link at best, but... ner.

Or she's not mental at all, and in there for some good reason that we don't know about. The psychologist link could be of use here.

But what will NOT happen is that it'll be revealed that it is in Hurley's head, else I'll die from dissapointment. Is this one of the theories that the writers have officially discounted?

There is a trailer for Ep 19 around if anyone is interested...and the synopsis is on the ABC site.

Could set up a really good episode by the look of it:

S2 Ep19 Trailer

Looks like Jack & Kate go to find The Others to try and trade 'Henry'. I guess for Walt.

I think the new episode is, yet again, not going to move the story on that much going by the ABC and CTV trailers that are up.

Not moving the story on!? Locke stops pusing the button! (since you see him on his back looking at the map in the computer room). Jack finally goes to see 'zeke'. Henry has said that 'zeke' is a nobody compared to 'him'. Hurley officially has a stalker.

Loads happening. Love it.
