Maybe the others evacuated the other bunker when Locke didn't push the button and got the hieroglyphics (? maybe...)

It was a good episode but I enjoyed the previous two more. Claires acting in the vaccine room seemed a bit off when she started shouting at Rousseau but then again she was meant to be slightly mental.

Its annoying having to wait 3 weeks after such a good episode. I think Henry is trying to play Locke, but Locke can tell, hes too intuitive not to notice i think. SUrely Claire was being doped up with morphine or somethingto keep her happy/compliant. The injections were to induce labour maybe? And the drink in the jungle was to bring her down or something

Surely they would've gone to investigate the bunker with the button then? Perhaps that's what Henry is doing there? :)

And OMG where the fuck is Desmond..... :P

I just realised where I know Zeke from after seeing him without the beard and that I've seen his fat hairy cock.

He's the guy that chases Thomas Haden Church out of the house where he was shagging the woman in Sideways and then rubs his cock against the car window. A quick trip to imdb confirms it.

I think someone needs to start paying attention at the back.

Locke didn't fall for what he was saying. The conversation immediately before (and at 2 other points in the episode) alluded to the fact that the doors were thin, he could hear what was going on. Balloon boy comes out with a line that exposed him as an Udder trying to split the group up. Locke then goes into the other room, within earshot and smashes stuff up. It's completely unlike him, it was a calculated gesture. Udder thinks his plan is working.

I'm not convinced. They made a big show of zooming in on Locke's "Mr Angry" face. If he was playing the Other as cool and calculated as you suggest, he could have just scattered the pots and gotten the same effect. I think they fucked up and made him do something out of character.

Oh, and I can't believe Zeke is the hairy cock guy from Sideways. I won't be able to take him seriously now! :)

The guys beard and hat where left in the abandonded lab yet we saw him not more than a couple of episodes ago with them on? Are they still using that hatch?

The beard and hat were found in the locker room, not the lab. The lab and nursery may be abandoned but not necessarily the locker room. We don't know quite how big this hatch is, all we know that the locker room is down the hall from the lab. There could be a number of other rooms still in use.

All in all, thought it was a good episode despite me finding Claire and Danielle some of the most annoying characters on the show. Always good to find more out about the island.

I too thought Henry Gale was in for beating when Eko went to see him, but alas no. Instead we get more of Eko's moody melodrama. (Is it not possibly for him to have a conversation without taking forever to get his words out?) I can only hope he's planning on using those trees he's chopping down to emply some defense system a la Arnie in Predator.

I can't understand why Locke got so wound up by what the guy they captured was saying. No one pays any attention to what Jack says any more. Whatever plan Sawyer or Sayid have, Locke lets them do as they please seemingly just to wind Jack up these days. Which is good, because Jack is a bit of a knob really.

Halfway through this episode I was thinking it was the most mindblowing Lost for ages, but by the end I felt a little bit cheated... although it was still pretty great.

It didn't advance the story half as much as it promised to, because Claire's baby hsn't got the "sickness", and in fact all we know about the sickness (still) is that the French chick know something about it.

And we don't know that anything of Claire's recollections are 100 per cent for real... she was doped up to the eyeballs and it all comes from a dredged up memory which she had suppressed.

I think we all knew that Claire had been taken by the "others" and kept for some reason to do with her baby, and then escaped from them. We didn't really learn why it happened.

If Ethan really HAD been her doctor in Australia that would have been pretty spooky.

Was having a conversation at work today and need someone to answer an argument we had.

In one of the episodes, in the flashback, Kate goes and see her Mother in the restaurant to tell her that she sorted out the step-father and shes leaving town.

I thought the episode was from the first series, mate thought it was from 2nd.

Can anyone advise what series [and episode] it was?

Thanks in advance.

I thnk maybe Jack isn't proving as popular with the viewers as they thought he would. He seems to be taking less centre stage recently doesn't he? Its just an impression I got. And like I said before, whenever they have to make a decision they never do what Jack wants any more.

I thought this episode was a real return to form, I was pretty gripped the whole way through. Of course, we all know now that noone will mention anything that happened in this episode, despite it being really important :(

Yep, in the same way that Ecko came face to face with the N@n0b0ts the other week and no appears to have mentioned it since. That does bug me a bit but I remember in season 1 when Claire got taken we had one ep that mentioned she was missing and then pretty much nothing until she reappeared.

I think Jack is becoming unpopular because his character appears to have put have put all his cards on the table now. He's had what, four flashback eps now? All he seems to be now is the doctor and the voice of good & reason.

They need Chantelle from Celeb Big Brother on the island...

"OHMIGOD! OMHIGOD! I've just seen a huge black cloud monster fingy in the jungle! OHMIGOD! OHMIGOD! The Others, right, they, like, were wearing fake beards and stuff! OHMIGOD! OHMIGOD! I've just seen Jack having gay bum love with Locke!! OHMIGOD! OHMIGOD!"

But it irritates me too, the way they never seem to talk about some of the stuff that's happening. They've all seen enough by now to know that anything they say about what they've seen/experienced would be taken with a certain amount of seriousnessnessness by the other islanders.

I just wonder what the other Survivor 'Extras' think about what the main people are doing. I mean, they heard the monster and were afraid of the Others coming. they keep seeing the main people leaving camp with guns, coming back wounded, Sawyer taking all the guns etc. do they not care AT ALL?

does everyone know about the hatch yet? I think they are doing shifts with the button, and using the washing machine, but no-one discusses it...

I do love the gradual reveal of the story but I think there are better ways of keeping in under control than simply making all characters act weird.

also, Jack needs to sort stuff out fast. he's losing control and he doesn't realise it - if he took charge and got the guns back maybe he'd be more interesting.

I agree - it would be nice if they did something along the lines of that episode of TNG which followed a group of ensigns instead of the main cast, so you saw what an episode of Star Trek was like from the 'extras' point of view.

It would be impossible to introduce another group of main characters, picked from the assorted cannon fodder, though. Even if they weren't to have flashbacks and stories it would be impossible to fit in - just think how little of the main story gets told as it is!

I think everyone is already sick or at least in the early stages.

As for Desmond he will turn up as one of the others.

TBH I havent an effin clue whats going on but some answers better start coming soon, way to many questions not enough answers.

Still like it though.

Seeing as the flashbacks are to continue, I want to see some more from the tailies, for example Libby's story and how she ties into Hurley's past.

I just hope there's no flashback for Rose and Bernard, can't stand Bernard's "acting".

And why had no one given Eko a new shirt to wear? The one he's wearing currently can barely be described as a shirt, it's just a rag on his back.

I can't stomach Rose either and her little pearls of wisdom. They set my teeth on edge. She should be on the starship Enterprise serving beers or something.
