Don't know, just thought it would be a good place to start.

Anyone good at photoshop want to create a pic of one of us, with him, and send it in to the fan pics bit?

Thought there might be some kind of clue in there.

Its an interesting read about flight 815 on there though even if they do mention nanobots <_<

Darren Aronofsky will direct 'Lost'

Who knew cult director Darren Aronofsky was a fan of the boob tube? The Requiem for a Dream helmer has just signed on to direct an episode of ABC’s Lost, which will likely air at the beginning of May sweeps. “It was one of those fantastic calls out of the blue,” says Lost exec producer Carlton Cuse. “His agents let us know he liked the show, and we jumped at the opportunity.

Apparently, he had been watching Lost while up in Montreal shooting The Fountain and got hooked.” Speaking of which, won’t this interfere with completing Fountain, the director’s six years-in-the-making sci-fi epic starring fiancée Rachel Weisz and Hugh Jackman? “I think he will be done,” speculates Cuse. “We scheduled it so that [the episode] is coming on the heels of finishing The Fountain. And we will try to put together a story that will be well-suited for Darren’s talents and visual imagination.”

Not bad tonight. However, how come everytime the monster chases somone they end up in the middle of those trees?

And the whole 'somethings gone missing', I bet Sawyer has it, he says he doesnt, they turn around and he's waving said object in their faces, a fight ensues, Sawyer lets em have it, thing is becoming a bit of a joke, perhaps thats the point, who knows.

Hey there.

"And we will try to put together a story that will be well-suited for Darren’s talents and visual imagination.”

I THOUGHT EVERYTHING WAS PLANNED OUT AND PART OF SOME HUGE MASTERPLAN????????????

How can they "put together a story" just for this guy if the show is already planned out ahead of time?

I say fuck off the "celebrity" directors and just get the show finished. I mean just what can he add to the show anyway? A hip hop montage?

Despin out.

Enjoyed last night's E4. I like the idea of the kid's imagination making things appear on the island, but that's the second polar bear, would have been funnier if one of the comic's superheros appeared instead. The polar bear was a bit ropey, but I guess fur is hard to do on a budget.

So Claire is back (from the black rock?), looking a bit rough. Didn't notice whether she was still with child or not. And Locke continues to rock.

Hopefully, we'll get some more hatch action soon.

The main points are planned. Like the reason for what's happening on the island, and what the monster is. But what actually happens in every episode isn't planned.

I've been watching the commentries on the series 1 DVDs recently and it's quite surprising what isn't planned. For example, Jack was meant to die in the second episode! Remember when you see the pilot up the tree, that was originally meant to be Jack. Also Locke not being able to use his legs before landing on the island wasn't planned until they'd actually filmed a couple of episodes. Someone just came up the the idea and they went back to the episodes they had already done and sorted them so they made sense.

Michael Keaton was also due to play Jack, hence them planning to kill him off in the first episode. I'd say it's 50% planned and 50% in the air. Perhaps there's some fundamental stuff that's set in stone but I imagine a lot of the backstories and such can be filled out to suit the plot or some intricacies (such as characters featuring in other people's flashbacks and such)

LOST QUIZ EXTRAORDINARY!

To stave off the withdrawal symptoms from no Lost this week I've put together this 'mini-Lost-quiz' to seperate the Jacks from the Sayids. See how YOU do with a mark out of 20 (please note this will contain things from series one up to series 2 the most recent ep):

1. Why is Hurley afraid of the numbers?

Because the Dharma initiative made Desmond input them and if he doesn't something bad will happen according to Walt's fruity ghost.

2. Charlie's band, Driveshaft, made 2 albums, but only had 1 good song- what was that song called?

Trick question, they had 0 good songs.

3. Why did Kate go to so much trouble to get a tiny toy plane both on and off the island?

Because she is stupid.

4. Jin gave Sun a dog to apologise for beating up a Korean politician.

False- he gave her the dog before because he didn't know what to do with it.

5. What is the name of the character Michelle Rodriguez plays?

Michelle Rodriguez.

6. What do Sawyer and the Terminator 2000 have in common?

They've both killed innocents.

7. Why are they on the island?

Something to do with nanobots.

8. Which important character died in season 1?

Leslie Artz.

9. How did Jack suddenly realise he'd met Desmond before?

He recognised Desmond's forehead.

10. What was Locke's occupation before he crashed on the island?

He was a cripple.

11. Why did Locke hit Sayid with a big stick in season 1?

To create intrigue and to allow the episode to finish on a cliffhanger.

12. What anagram of Ethan Rom should have tipped of the survivors?

'More Than'- he obviously took his name from insurance adverts. LIFE insurance adverts.

13. How many episodes have had flashbacks based around the dog?

There has only been 1 Claire-centric episode.

14. Why can't Jin speak english?

He is a lazy foreigner.

15. What makes Shannon and Boone different from the average brother and sister?

They are actually step-brother and step-sister.

16. Why are there polar bears on the island?

Walt read a comic book.

17. Who is 'Alex'?

Alex Mason played the bartender in season 1 episode 16 'Outlaws'.

18. Who caused Boone to die?

Society as a whole let him down, and must ultimately bear the brunt.

19. Why did Jack smash up an empty coffin?

He thought perhaps the airport staff had hid his fathers corpse behind a secret panel as a joke.

20. What do we learn about Charlie from his backstories?

Who cares?
