Not a single mention of the in-depth interview with Suda51?

 

After the absolute snorefests that were issues #380 and #381 (#382 was pretty good though) it seems like a very interesting issue again.

Looks like Edge is back on the menu boys!

Have any print subscribers had their issue delivered as yet? It's popped up on Readly, but nothing has arrived through the door yet.

 

Normally I wouldn't worry, but given that we thought we'd had no post at all this week, until a lady turned up at the door a short while ago with an important contract the postman had managed to stick through the completely wrong door...

Is there a legitimate way of getting a pdf of the digital edition? 

 

I fancy reading the magazine again but I've got no interest in paper copies and I'm not paying for a magazine that I can only read in an app or from a website.

Not a PDF but if you register with your library then you can login to the PressReader app with your membership number for free access.

Yep, though it still should have arrived with subscribers on the Thursday (no issue of Edge, at least during my time, has been held back beyond the on-sale date) but the wallet caused extra complications so it only made it to retail on Saturday.

Mine has arrived unbent! And so a pristine wallet has gone straight in the recycling bin. Not entirely sure what said wallet achieved bar ensuring the subs copy came with both plastic and card packaging, to be honest, but at least it fits in the bin nicely.

What a stupid waste of paper, ink, energy and carbon footprint that wallet is. Such pointless marketing should be beneath Edge, and makes me want the game to fail rather than succeed.

Look into an app called Flipster. I’m lucky that I don’t actually have to pay for what it does (access to digital versions of all sort of magazines, Edge included) since teaching at a university allows me to access everything on there for free, but it might well be something Joe Public can sign up for too.
 

I’m pretty sure I downloaded a back issue of Edge in PDF format to read a certain article recently (I still gladly pay for and enjoy a paper subscription, but couldn’t find the specific issue I was looking for at the time).

Mine just arrived, along with its baffling cardboard sleeve.

 

Shook everything out in the hope of some stickers or a Fruit Salad chew falling out, but nothing. :hmm:
