I can't say 40 quid for Prime seems like a bargain exactly. It's what, a higher res version of a 20 year old game with a few control options?

Still going to buy it obviously but when you consider how much the whole Trilogy cost on the Wii it's hard to justify why it's that price.

Quite.

After the early excitement of the shadow drop I think I'll just wait ion the physical release as at least I'll be able to sell that one and hopefully recoup half the cost...

I could be wrong but it didn't look like just a higher-res version. Models looked better but I'm sure digital foundry will reveal all.

Why? It’s out in 3 months, we’re all going to play it anyway. Why spoil it for yourself?

Mate, he hasn't played Ghost Trick. Don't waste your time with sort of degenerate.

Just finished catching up (joined during the advance wars bit). I thought it was alright.

Tears of the Kingdom this year, a Reroll version of We Love Katamari, and Rain Code and the Etrian Odyssey remasters look great. Also GB Pokémon TCG soon, that's good.

As mentioned, kind of icky that Splatoon is flogging lobby DLC and Prime 1 Remaster by itself for £35 is a hard sell. But I think it's a net positive.

There we go. Price bump for Zelda.

Collectors edition, can we get alerts for when this will become available? It’s gonna be an absolute nightmare to get hold of.

We'll see, I'd like to be wrong. But even so, when Resi 4 is getting a proper, full-on remake for £45-£50 it still feels a bit extortionate.

35 quid for prime is fine as it's clearly had a lot of work done to it. It's not just an up rez and that's it. Textures have been improved and this is probably a brand new engine as well (most likely the one they are using for prime 4). Also it's just a fucking great game full stop. Retro (confirmed to be by them by the way) clearly spent a lot of time on it. Oh and it's apparently true that nintendo sat on this for around 18 months. It was done ages ago.

I was out at my guessed £40 but they may have dragged me back in at £34.99 as it feels a fair bit cheaper.

Oh I said to my wife I am buying it and her response was...

"Fucking remasters..."

She knows my nostalgia button is big and ready to dump any amount!

It looks great from the screenshots though Mike and I imagine in motion, 10* better!
