Still buying it!

My favourite bit is the small section about what was popular and happening 17 years ago. Although 17 is such a random number. Would've prefered 20 (or 18 or 15). But still one of the bits I check the first upon receiving the magazine.

I'd guess on their first issue they looked back 20 years and there was nothing, and 15 years they'd missed pivotal stuff

Do you mean back to the noughties? We’ve done all the years before it 😂

I know. But it's weird that you chose to go back 17 years instead of for instance 20.

So when we ran back to the nineties and noughties we did random months which were never in the right order. Readers complained so when we started Back to the noughties we went in order.

I think we're running out of those!

Is there anything to be said for maybe doing a Marvel Vs DC feature? Both have had loads of games of varying quality. You may have covered most of them before in Batman and Spider-Man articles? I'm old and my memory is failing...

We’ve done an article on the vs games.
could always do an ultimate guide I guess

I was thinking more something about both comic companies licensed games. There are a few lesser known games I think. Maybe even just something about comic book games in general?

*Edit*

Alternatively just keep doing what you have been doing. I've been subscribed for literally years so it must be working 👍

The 1080 interview with the main developer is brilliant.

1080 is just one of the best games ever made. It's a shame that nothing since has come close. Amped (and amped 2) is good, but I find the whole camera men shouting at you really annoying it never seems to just flow like 1080. There's never that feeling of just about holding on.

Does anyone know if his other game carve got a non VR release?

Or can anyone recommend a snowboarding game that does come close to 1080.

Homebrew - Robocop is returning to Amiga (a new AGA version) and arriving on Mega Drive, the Champion Coder is Alastair Low (Flea, Tapeworm Disco Puzzle) and there’s a preview of Terrestrial on C64 (released this week). Plus a review of Devil’s Temple - Return of the Kung Fu Master on Amiga...

I haven’t received an issue since number 237. I keep emailing customer service, and they keep saying they’re putting additional copies in the post, but they never seem to turn up.

I stopped subbing because of the severe problems receiving any issues. Got RG from my local(ish) WH Smith instead… Which seems to have suddenly shut down this last week. Bah.

edit: I’ll add that I found the latest issue out on a shopping trip yesterday, and I’ll commend @strider @merman and team for an excellent issue, one of the best this year. :)

I've read it for years on Readly. Which I've just this month cancelled after realising (thanks to someone mentioning it here) that I can actually get all of the magazines (including RG) in digital format using my library card. I only used Readly for RG, Viz, New Scientist and occasionally Edge, and they're all on the library app.

I think that generates us even less money than Readly.

Presumably the business bods must have decided it's worth doing though? Or they wouldn't bother. I doubt Future are just making it available that way out of the goodness of their hearts?

I guess they look at it as hardly any money is better than no money.
