This is good news for Croatia. This game going just as long (probably), a few suspensions and  minor knocks for whoever goes through and maybe a mass brawl at the end still to come.

 

Modric will be rubbing his hands at being in a better state at 37 than most of the opposition.

I think all the yellows get cleared after this round just to ensure someone doesn't get booked in a semi final and miss the final because they got booked in the first match of the group stage.

Argentina looked much better than the Dutch there. Very unlucky to be screwed over by the ref. 
 

Hopefully they smash them in these penalties.

I know, right? It's weird they reverted back to their normal game plan, whereas had they kept pressing whilst Argentina were obviously rattled they may have got some joy.
