Another one that I had worked out but couldn’t find the right moves. I’m missing some key point on how to move the letters.

It's often about finding the right instance of a letter to swap.

 

Spoiler

In today's there were a couple of As (IIRC) where one was required in one word, and swapping the right one also put the swapped letter in the right place, where the other didn't. Then there's one step beyond that, where swapping a letter makes one right, but sets the other up for the next swap, or the one after that. I still feel like I'm fumbling my way through this a tad though, so maybe others have better advice.

After an unbroken run of 20 successes in the archive, I ended up failing today's actual board with one swap left. :(
