There is nothing, and I mean nothing, more satisfying than taking apart a gribbly deck on the last turn with a clutch Enchantress. Particularly when it in turn leads to Typhoid Mary eating the middle lane whole (as suddenly the collection of 6-point cards that were there all find themselves at the same power level as the 2-pointer that had been screening them).

I may be dense, but I can't actually see how many collection tokens I have. The Helicarrier costs 3000, and apparently I can purchase it, but it's not very clear to me how many that will leave me with, if any!

The number at the top-right is your balance, the number in the "lozenge' is the cost. I'm guessing in your case both are 3000?

 

(for me the option was Ghost Rider, who cost 1000 vs my balance of 3000)

After having stern words with myself about saving my collector tokens for cards that I am sure I want, I immediately splurged 3k on one of the new cards, Titania.  I am so fucking weak!

 

 

It’s working well with my Kazoo deck, although I’ve miscalculated which side she’ll end up on so many times I’ve added Zero too.   I guess she could work as a way of blocking an opposite lane going into turn 6 and then pulling it back.

I loved my move deck, until we got into Season 3 and I uniformly failed to pick up any of the related cards (no Torch, no whatever the one who boosts herself based on opposition is etc.). It's been sad spiralling down from the upper-60s into the low 50s as I fail to pull together synergies.

Had a fun location pairing just now: filled my hand with junk turn 1, played Ultron from said junk turn 2. I retreated, strangely enough

Oh god @cassidyI feel you, they always seem to draw exactly what they bloody need! Even more annoying is that I can’t pilot them for shit, and if I get a good draw I get some shitty location like Fisk Tower to screw me up.

Move decks need too much planning for my adhd brain. I'm having a lot of fun with collector-based stuff. Spamming draws to buff him which also works well because you end up with some crazy 6 power cards.

The Collector's shop has truly broken me. I totally should have bought Red Skull yesterday, because I have Cerebro at the moment and just know that it now won't give me anything worthwhile until the second after I decide to buy one of them.

I've pinned a card that requires 6000 tokens, but I only have 2000. I got 100 from a cache yesterday, seems like it would take forever to earn the 4000 more I need.

 

EDIT: just looked up the stats, 25% of 100 tokens in a cache means I'd have to open an average of 160 caches!

Top right of the "Token Shop" section on the Store tab.

When looking at the card that’s featured, the amount you have is in the top right hand corner of that particular window with a red background.

Maria Hill in my shop. 2 cost, 3 power, On Reveal adds a random 1 cost card to my hand. I'd dive on that at 1000, but no way am I blowing all my tokens on her when there are plenty others out there. (Deadpool, Dracula, Hela, Venom.) I wish this shop gave choices, like 2*1000 and 1*3000 every day! Or even 1 card of each energy cost. But my wallet would not thank me...

I don't think I've seen a single series 3 card yet, mine's been a constant stream of expensive series 4 and 5 cards. Had Attuma in the shop and waited for the timer to tick down and it’s replaced him with Super Skrull. Before that it was Agent Coulson and She Hulk.

I bought the series 3 Patriot card (+1 to non-ability cards) from the Token Store and it's given me a great new deck to use the early cards with again.

 

Combining it with the likes of Shocker, Abomination, Cyclops and it even buffs those damn rocks

 

edit- had Galactus in my store yesterday but 6000 token cost...

I'm still using a basic-ass Ongoing deck that, somehow, still works most of the time. I am only 400 and something though. Not looking forward to having to know deck archetypes and how they work.

I’m just about to break 500 and go all the cards prior to series 3 now.  I’ve also done all the season quests, the last one was win 10 games with a snap which was a pain as I went on a run of bad games so lost a load of cubes.  I ended up switching to a devil dinosaur deck which saw me go without a loss till I finished the quest.  I’m not sure if I’ll get the season pass again.  It’s technically good value, the gold alone works out cheaper than the shop.  But I don’t ever feel like I want to buy gold, and other than the card and variants, there isn’t a lot else.  I think the season rewards without it is a lot less interesting, but not so much I want to pay.  Maybe if the next card after silver surfer (who I’m not bothered about getting) is any good I could be tempted….

The irony with Galactus is that the effect is really cool and thematic….but to balance that they made him weak.  Playing him “normally” and unless you get super lucky he’ll not beat much and probably lose you the game, making him a bad random pull.  Typically he needs a bunch of support, usually Wave to get him out early or Magik to add a turn.  You can also run the goblin cards to play into where you intend to play him, making them winning that lane harder.  But typically I see it being run in decks that try and get it to have turns after him, and play Death or if the go the wave route, Galactus turn 4, skip 5 and Infinaut/She Hulk turn 6.

Agatha starts in your hand and plays your cards for you.

Worth bearing in mind you don't have to be the one to snap, so long as you win a game where at least one player did so.

 

I'm rubbish at snapping, so I keep inching up the 40s then sliding back down again. I suppose I need to read up on the game outside of just playing it, as whenever I do snap I end up blindsided by an opposing card I've never seen before that dismantles my setup.

Haha I think my lowest ever win was 2-4-0. No idea how I managed it though!
