Let me try this again in the right topic...

Is there a viable deck focused entirely on spoiling it for your opponent? Scorpion, Iceman, Armor, Cosmo, Enchantress, Aero kinda thing. I've started adding a couple of these kinds of cards into my usual decks (rather than just focusing on stuff that helps me) and I find dropping Cosmo in to stop them discarding or to stop their Lockjaw/Wong from doing on reveal stuff absolutely delightful.

There are plenty of obvious troll disrupt decks, but they're not particularly viable long term. My own "Trollolol" got me to about level 30 when I was still a new player, and it is still fun to bust it out occasionally, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're trying to climb. Any decent players you come across will just escape as soon as you ruin their strategy, and you'll probably end up more frustrated than they do.

Thing with Armour and Cosmo lanes especially now the Shuri decks running quite frequently it’s beneficial for them now and stops you from using a Shang-Chi/ Valkyrie if they haven’t drawn them in their deck.

This is mainly a fill the other side with junk deck.

The Hood

Viper

Titania

Angela (mainly for points on board)

daredevil

G. goblin

Debrii

Killmonger

Polaris

Shang-chi

Aero

Spider women/ Gamora

Though you might want a Sera Control type deck.

other additions are:

Goose, then you can Absorbing man another lane straight after to block 2 lanes so no big boys can be played.

A pretty effective deck for that is this one I use at times.

Iceman
# (2) Sentinel
# (2) Lizard
# (3) Mister Fantastic
# (3) Cosmo
# (3) Killmonger
# (3) Wave
# (4) Shang-Chi
# (5) Hobgoblin
# (5) Leech
# (6) Doctor Doom
# (6) Magneto

It's very boring though, but it pretty much shuts down most of the popular deck types.

Might drop rogue in there instead of hobby,

She-Hulk is one of my top performers! She allows for some decent flexibility, slapping her down as early as turn 3 can mean Shang-Chi doesn't spoil things for you on turn 6, but mainly it makes an opponent think you already popped off your big gun and that opens up low-scoring lane steals. I tend to run her in a deck where I hopefully get to play Nick Fury on turn 5, to bring in another big hitter along with America Chavez on 6. Basically, I enjoy the options she brings to the table.

I call this deck "666", designed primarily for a "Play 25 6 cost cards" quest I was stuck with one time, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked in it's own right:

# (1) Sunspot

# (1) Agent 13

# (1) Mantis

# (2) Beast

# (2) Cable

# (3) Hulkbuster

# (4) Jubilee

# (4) Crystal

# (5) Hobgoblin

# (5) Nick Fury

# (6) America Chavez

# (6) She-Hulk

I'm sure I could rework it now I have some better options in there, but thankfully the 6 cost quest only ever wants me to play at most 4 these days, so I don't use the deck as often as I did.

Ah the coward move. That's what you can do and welcome the 1 cube retreat 😂

Does anyone else feel that a lot of games simply end up in retreats?

It is not even that you care about the cubes. Sometimes a card is dropped and, even with two possible strategies in your hand, you can't win. Retreat.

Or people see something coming for a final cars setup and quit.

May they possibly introduce something like:

- Retreat limits

- Retreat penalty from turn 4 and above (lose X cubes anyway)

- No retreat from turn 5

Retreating is a key part of the game

I've had two times today where by I lined up Ironheart, Wong, Mystique with another card in one location.

Both times the other person quit at the start of then 6 as Odin was about to drop.

On the flip side I've quit multiple times when I don't get the drops I want and/or I am blocked.

It seems I rarely finish games now.

This is the season I hit 50, I can feel it. On an excellent win percentage since I switched to this Lockjaw deck 🤞🏽

Two trips back down to 47 but we made it, lads. Did the last push on a brave snap 8 cube win with TGP’s advice ringing in my ears.

Congrats! I, too, have only made it into the 50's once. Nice to know that not everyone playing hits Infinite in their sleep.

The last couple of seasons have been struggles, with me getting stuck in 10-20 for the first couple of weeks. I'm at 37 right now, been 3 days of unable to get past 35 but with a lot of terrible locations at least partially responsible. But I feel like I'll reach 50 or even 60 this time. I just need to remember that "Escape" is always a viable option.

Does anyone know how exactly the token shop card rotation works? I have precisely one series 3 card still to unlock - Nick Fury - and for the last few rotations the shop is stuck on that. I don’t want to spend 1000 tokens on him, particularly as I already own 2 variants, just not the base card. But if series 4/5 cards will start appearing in the shop once I’ve bought him then I’ll bite the bullet…

According to: https://marvelsnapzone.com/token-shop/:

Until you complete Series 3, the token shop will show a series 3 card 60% of the time, a series 4 card 25% of the time, a series 5 card 12.5% of the time, and the remaining 2.5% of the time will be ultimate variants.

Once you complete series 3, the odds change to series 4 (62.5%), series 5 (31.25%), and ultimate variants (6.25%).

Given the pity timer will award you a series 3 card every 8 caches at a minimum, it makes zero sense buying your last series 3 card with tokens.

Making good progress this season until I hit 85. Since then it's been a slog, one step forwards, one step backwards, playing a lot of games but treading water. It's very rare that any game goes the distance - everyone bails (including me) rather than risk losing cubes.

There's very little variety as well, mostly Thanos and Shuri Red Skull decks with the odd Galactus thrown in every now and then. I've got a functional discard deck but it gets stomped by Thanos and Shuri pretty much every time, although Galactus you can see coming a mile off so that's pretty easy to counter.

I got Zero this morning in my token shop but I'm like 25 cards off completing series 3 so it seemed like a good one to pin?

I read that the token shop is changing soon so that everyone not series 3 complete (including me, I'm 40 odd cards short) will get a free series 3 card every month, with the shop then being for series 4/5 only. So if there's a series 3 card you want, now is the time to buy!

Teenage Negasonic Warhead released tomorrow might solve some Shuri shinanegins. Depending on how it interacts, whether you can just leave it on a lane you’re winning and the next card they play (either Red Skull or Taskmaster) will just get blown up. As the card is not on reveal so if you have priority you can place it on the Cosmo lane. Not sure if armour negates the destruction effect, though I’m expecting it will.

Might be just me, but I've actually not even bothered putting Zero into a deck. It's not the only card I've done that with, and I do see the potential utility, but it doesn't really appeal to me. Overall I thought that there was more value in positive effects than negating possible bad ones.

Zero is just a good card. Definitely one to get which has very good uses.

Negates the bad stuff from:

Redskull, Typhoid Mary, Lizard, Sentry,  Ebony Maw (2 mana for 10 power is nothing to sniff at, just watch out for all the Skillmongers played on turn 6)

Plus you can make Titania stay on your side permanently if you want.

This afternoon, I played what I think was my most evil win ever. I finally got Mr. Negative, so built a deck with him in mind. Of course, just like with every time I give a new card a test drive, the entire point of the damn deck refuses to show its face. But, 1 if the 0 power cards I put in came through for me...

1st location was Mojoworld. Middle location was Central Park, and 3rd location was the one where lowest wins, so we both had just a squirrel there. Negative was in hiding, but was able to I play Arnim Zola there. This ate the squirrel, which left me with 0, and took the location. The squirrel that it then played onto Central Park was enough, as my opponent piled onto left for the 100 points!

My new favourite win ever 🤣

Don’t think I’ve seen this but buncha changes inbound and some new cards revealed, including the May season pass which probably isn’t that surprisingly GotG themed with number 3 releasing that month, and Nebula being the card you get.

https://snap.fan/news/march-21st-bundles-balance-changes-and-variants/

A few changes to Thanos and Sheri decks, but notably mostly to cards that aren’t those - Thanos gets some super minor nerfs but it’s Quinjet that takes the hit, not being able to reduce the stones to 0 now.  She Hulk loses a power, and Red Skull loses 2 but his drawback is cut too, which actually ends up buffing him in normal play most the time.

The most interesting of the new cards is the High Evolutionary, the new baddie from GotG3.  He has a start of the game effects where he unlocks a “hidden” power in cards that have no abilities - so all the plain cards like Cyclops now get some text.  Some of these some pretty powerful potentially but think is hard to evaluate without playing them.  Seems like these new abilities have some synergy, like wasp, Cyclops and Thing debuffs your opponents power, which then reduces Aboms cost, and Hulk and Misty Knight have benefits if you bank energy.
