I’m attempting a Hela deck at the moment, which is great when it works, but Lady Sif repeatedly discards Hela when Infonaut, Hulk or Giganto are also in my hand, which is really annoying.

I’ve won about 50% of games today (10 or so) using sunspot and zola. So only playing two cards the entire game.  Also have come across some incredibly bizarre plays assume the bots are having a bad day.

The danger there is an Electra or Killmonger. I've had Killmonger knock me out a couple of times.

Still with DD shang-li can also do for him.

I got very lucky on this one, considering:

- My only chance was to whack down Zola while DD, Hobgob and Sunspot were there.

- I played first which shifted Sunspot

- They then played Armor which would have blocked AZ

- If they'd have leaned in somewhere else I would have lost

What this tactic does is shift the focus towards one main area, and they get caught trying to block or beat. The others usually go unguarded.

They made a mistake with that above for sure.

I think hella really needs invisible women to save reveals until the end

Yeah it's rules like this that I think need tightening up.

I've noticed a few situations where the outcome is not as you would expect or is not as transparent as it could be.

Ruining a shielded location is another one that confuses me. Arnim Zola seems to clone cards that gets the benefit of playing a card, but not moving or drawing one.

This is my other problem - I’m always one short for any deck. My deck level is now just shy of 1509, and I still haven’t drawn Wong, Death, Invisible Woman, Lock Jaw, and any other number of cards that make decks work.

You’ll get there eventually. I had Wong pinned for ages while I was earning tokens, he turned up in a collector’s reserve when I had 900 tokens at around level 2400.

This was a fun game! All cards cost one less.

I dropped Electro on the double reveal so by turn 4 I suddenly had an extra 2 points a turn.

Hmmmm I thought I'd give something a try.

I used Zola on him and sure enough I was now gaining an extra 4 points per turn!

Turn 5+6 I dropped Spiderwoman and Devil Dino which cost 8 points - which smacked 8 more points into Sunspot for a decent win.

If only there was a way for Electro to stack but more cards allowed to be played!

A couple of things which are probably obvious to most but not to me;

1) I didn't realise that you level up each variant of a card individually. I have been sat with a load of cards wanting to upgrade to infitiy level (which costs 500) but haven't as you get more bang for your buck and lower levels.  I got a Kazar variant and it started again at the lowest level

2) Once you hit infinity the card resets, so that Kazar card dropped back down and the next upgrade was 25 credits.

This should speed up progression and access to more cards nicely

(I am also sat on about 4k in gold which suddenly has a purpose)

@squirtle

I decided to get Ultron because he appeared in the shop and I then lost to him.

I realised I didn't have Patriot, thought he might be fun. I had a couple of wins and this one just now (helped no doubt by how he'd moved his cards on turn 6).

The sandman buff is pretty big, though it feels like its either a counter for decks that rely on multiple drops on turn 6 or just in an electro ramp deck to get out early as way of getting round electros drawback (well, making your opponent also suffer with it) but either way he’s at the point where he doesn’t also fee

terrible to play too.  Mr Negative can swing things so much it makes no difference if he is low power, Sandman’s effect isnt so strong it can carry him.  Darkhawks nerf probably won’t affect much, but I’m not sure how they could drop it down without butchering him.  I actually think the Spiderwoman buff is better than at first glance too.  She already often felt like a decent play, but her problem is the 5 cost cards are pretty competitive as is.  In theory, she’s a 5 cost, 12 power swing now (if you’re opponents side is full).  With a Wong or an Odin she probably wins a lot of lanes herself.

The Sandman change seems very meh in the current meta. The only deck it really handicaps is Sera which basically nobody is playing. I've tried a couple of decks with it, but even with Electro to ramp him out, you are only playing 8 total power on turns 3 and 4, which is fairly pathetic. Playing big cards after doesn't matter because most decks at the moment play big cards anyway. I suspect the change is in anticipation of one of the upcoming battle pass cards, Hit Monkey (2 energy, 0 power, gain +2 power for every card you play this turn), which looks like it could become absolutely broken without something in the game to stop it.

The Spiderwoman buff makes the Hazmat decks even better. They are way more common than they used to be. Hold on to your Cosmos! It'll be interesting to see if she finds her way to in to Shuri or On Reveal decks, but I think that the fact that even though she is a 5/12 if you hit a 4 card lane, you still have to hit that lane to have the impact, which is a bit too conditional to make her reliable.

I actually think the Dagger change is the secret OP that people are overlooking. I've come up against some move decks recently and a 2/14 is no joke.

I'm uhming about the Deadpool bundle. I like Skottie Youngs stuff and the 1500 tokens is 50% of the Knull I've got pinned. But I need 700 gold which is 9 quid and leaves me at zero, which you can bet means the variants I want will come up.

There has been a datamine of the upcoming bundles, and they are cheaper than anything they've tried to push so far, so unless you really want the Deadpool variant, it seems better to save your gold for those.

Collector Tokens are easily the most important resource in the game, and these are the best gold to collectors token ratio there has been of any bundle they've released yet. If you buy all 4 of them it's .92 Collectors Tokens for 1 gold. The deadpool bundle is .7 for comparison.

If you do all of your missions everyday and collect your caches you'll probably end up with about 2k gold over the month anyway, so if you want that Knull then saving your gold for these is probably your best bet. That's what I'm doing anyway. I've got Thanos pinned and I'm 1200 away.

This is exactly the type of shit I need to know. Fantastic, thanks very much.

A lucky win here - I can only presume he didn’t read the location description in the middle.

No luck involved. Some people simply don't understand how the game works, and think total power wins. That's the only thing I can think of for the sheer amount of times I've seen someone play Inifinaut onto a zone I couldn't possibly win.

Having recently acquired Zola and BP, it seemed rude not to stick them in a deck together with Wong. With half a season of playing a Patriot deck and half with the Zola/BP deck, along with some nonsense decks here and there to level cards, I’m very close to cracking season level 70 for the first time. Keep getting within a snapped win of it and dropping back, but will get there in the end.

When everything comes together and you don’t get Cosmo/Enchantress/Magneto messing with your shit, it’s hard not to win more than you lose…

Rank 70 is very impressive. Just as in the last few months, I'm stuck hovering just below rank 50. I've got four pretty strong deck options (Patriot/Mystique/Ultron, a Destroy one with Death and Arnim Zola, a Wong/on-reveal one and a Discard one) but I can't seem to make the push past 50 with either of them. I'm good at retreating and rarely, if ever, lose 4+ cubes but I'm missing something...

Just had a bizarre win that shouldn’t have been….they were playing a discard deck, I was playing a rubbish (as in very not optimal, just messing around) destroy card deck.  One of the locations was the one that swaps hands at the start of turn 6.  We were winning a lane each and mid was contested, but they were slightly ahead thanks to them having morbious there.  My hand that they took consisted of Death, Arnim Zola, and a Zero cost Sabretooth.  Theirs that I took was Wave.  Literally, they could win just playing the Sabretooth in mid, so they snapped, as they should, and I thought about retreating.  But thought, sod it, played Wave mid and let it play out.  You can probably guess, but they played Zola and Sabretooth mid, Zola hit the Morbious, which wasn’t enough to win the lane I was already winning but did remove enough for me to win mid literally by 1.
