Wonder if this be postponed due to all the recent Bill Murray allegations and if anything worst comes along.

What allegations?

Fully expect The Wasp to die in this as Evangeline Lilly is a cunt and Disney will want rid.

And what’s she done?

Bill sounds like a dick https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2022/10/everyone-who-has-publicly-accused-bill-murray-of-misconduct

Evangeline just seems to have some odd views on Covid. https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/films/news/evangeline-lilly-marvel-vaccine-mandate-b2002510.html

So I read/saw screen grabs that an old character is returning in a form that honestly looks rather ridiculous in photorealistic CG, but I can’t seem to find it in the trailer?

Spoiler

MODOK but it’s just Yellowjacket’s huge face?

I don't hate the idea that

Spoiler

he's probably gonna be all depressed about missing his daughter growing up (more than he already had, lol divorced dad etc etc) and wants to get that back, etc.

Sure, he's meant to be a Good Guy and would know better, but at the same time he's a bit more of an independent individual than some of the full on avenger types so if the opportunity just happens to come his way I could see him thinking 'sure, just a little time travel, what's the harm? I never do anything for myself'. Even Cap got to be selfish about that stuff.

tl;dr I guess it's a bit of a contrivance for the stories sake but it doesnt feel forced at least. Fits with what we know of the character.

Plus, they can then make some 'it's like I dont even know her anymore' meta joke about his daughter being a new actress probably.

Spoiler

I understand the character motivation to want that, but why would he need Kang? Don’t they literally just have a time machine lying around from the end of Endgame, the shower booth one Cap used, powered by Ant Man’s own tech? It’s like offering Superman a SpaceX flight. Guy’s already got that, it’s not a good basis for a Faustian bargain

Heck, probably loads of people have time machines now. Fifth biggest cause of death is going back to try to be a better dad and running in to a cosmic irony.

Huh, the Avengers living in a universe where time travel is not only possible but has zero consequences for the present (branching timelines etc.) raises some big questions now I think about it.

The Loki TV Series is a direct response to that issue in your final paragraph.
