there's no production capacity, everything is a struggle for anyone who isn't a huge multinational to even get in. what's probably happening is their manufacturer promised to fit them in wherever they can and they've estimated that they'll have the units done over the course of a year.

who knows for sure, cos it's not like analogue will communicate it

Analogue have always operated like this when they don't have units in stock.

Chip shortages make me wonder about potential hardware revisions though. Hopefully there won't be any more firmware regressions because I think they're going to stop supporting anything that isn't Analogue OS in future.

I’ve got both a Japanese colour Super NT and Mega SG sat here doing nothing since getting into MiSTer. I’ve got an FX Pack Pro for the Super NT and a Mega Everdrive Pro for the Mega SG. There’s also one each of the 8bitdo controllers for each. I’m thinking that selling this lot would cover the price of the highest capacity Steam Deck.

I’m fundamentally extremely lazy though and really have no enthusiasm for selling any of it. Does anyone want to make this really easy and take the above off me for £700 delivered? It’s all in perfect condition albeit unboxed.

Long shot I know with it all being one big package but I don’t want to split and mess about.

Edit - Posted the above in Trading.

So the pre-order for the final Super NT run has opened, and shipping to the UK is $80 - nope, that's just too much. $280 upfront + VAT + Duty and I might get it this time next year. And then Analogue will likely replace it with something running Analogue OS that can run other cores. At that price and as someone without a cart collection the MiSTer makes far more sense.

Edit: Apparently they're charging $75 shipping to Canada from the US. Crazy.
