So I punted on this from Gamivo after the free weekend. I like it. It's obviously broken as shit like all CoDs are but eh. I run about, I shoot people in the face, I get shot in the back, we start and dance again.

 

I'm just disappointed after Cold War that the skins are so boring. I want my super bonkers undead neon 80s bullshit that gets me seen from across the map.

Working through platinum weapon camos right now. Got four assault rifles done, including the asstastic Lachman 556, but longshots take a while.

 

Everything's leveled except launchers and (blech) sniper rifles, so... progress?

 

Oh, and I got my two anime calling cards so I'm sorted. Cyber Assassin and the eye blinking one from the battle pass, prestige level... one and four?

 

I also see there's a deal for double cod points in the store in the... dune or stalker pack or something like that. I wouldn't likely buy much with them (Klaus looks cool and I'm still not paying that much for the dickhead or his neat coal dismemberment - Soap, Calisto and Burger King guy are fine for now) but something might tempt in the future. Hmm.

I've got everything levelled now, just working my way through challenges. Got all the launchers gold, and half of the shotguns and pistols. I need to hop into ground war to level teh JOKR I think, a few of those dropped on snipers should hopefully hit some ammo boxes and tac inserts so I wont' have to bother shooting UAV's down. I'm finding the X13 pistol really hard to get 3 kills without dying with. Considering how I get instantly deleted when other people dual wield hipfire them in my direction I'm quite surprised.

Shield on back and duel wield on shipment. Lay down in middle of map.

I've got gold riot shield and knife, and platinum riot shield is 2 kills within 10 seconds of each other 10 times. I've been lurking to get my shield kills, because they're a pain. I get one kill and then hide until the next oppourtunity arises. Does anyone have a cast iron EZ-mode for the shield?

Shipment. Have the two perks that stop Grenades. Hide in the middle.of the map and just run up and down the corridors. 

 

 

For your l and r perk have smoke grenade and bang that down the middle too. 

 

I did it in two matches this way

Il tell you what annoys me. I play shield and knife mainly on s and d. I got platinum ages ago. To get the next camo, I need to get 51 guns to gold. I don't get why this is required for either shield or knife and it totally spoils it as I have spent a lifetime levelling up guns I will never use. Just let me get camo for the guns I want please.

While the game is a lot of fun, the camo challenges are dogshit. You can't ignore them - even if you don't try to do some of these ludicrous challenges, you can bet your ass several of your team mates will spend the game squatting in a bush with a pistol trying to nail someone at a hundred metres and contributing bugger all.

 

That team mate might even be me.

 

It's colossally bad design.

The rubber banding is back, but a restart hasn't cured it this time. I've been trying to get the SPR gold and I can barely hit a thing so I'm hopping back onto a couple of SMG's, god knows there are enough of them to get gold.

Having got the animated calling card for 2,500 hip fire kills over Christmas I noticed that there is an equally cool Prestige 1 for completing 4 challenges which would sit nicely with it...I'm now trying to get longshot kills with SMGs. Not only do I not have the reflexes for this game, I'm also lacking the eyesight required - woke up with neck strain. But it shall be mine.
