Factorio and ib are both incredibly well-recieved on PC, so it's nice that they'll get their time in the sun soon. Tunic is still looking like my GOTY, so more eyes on that as well is great.

EDIT: Actually, the head guy of Factorio is a cunt. Wait for something like Satisfactory or Dyson Sphere Program to arrive, Switch fans.

Raincode looks neat as a fan of Danganronpa, so I'll gladly pick it up.

Front Mission 1st looks.. a bit ropey, honestly. But that's mostly down to my enjoyment of the original SNES game's aesthetic.

Obv Goldeneye, FE, Pikmin and Zelda is good. Plenty to look forward to.

Snap! I'm not a huge fan of the Danganronpa character visual design, and they've clearly used the same designer here, but the fact we're getting a variation on Danganronpa's investigation gameplay in a significantly different setting* appeals a lot; looking forward to that.

Front Mission, meanwhile, I really like the new models (which makes sense; chunky mecha design have worked well in 3D since the PS1), but the whole 'obvious tileset but 3D' is starkly ugly and the combat animation underwhelming. Another one of those games where I'd rather they just put out the original with a decent CRT filter over the top.

* though, amnesiac protagonist? Really? A bit of a hackneyed setup there!

That was pretty shite 😞

Tears of the Kingdom trailer was disappointing.

1080 and Goldeneye for the N64 collection was good news tbf.

Radiant Silvergun shadow drop is pretty cool.

I’ll get that Final Fantasy rhythm game cause I’m the type of cunt who’s got tickets booked for the anniversary symphonic concert at Royal Albert Hall next month, with a bag of magic mushrooms lined up especially for the occasion

Pikmin 4 is good news, but we saw fuck all.

I think that was it for me. Can’t believe I got miraculously drunk in the middle of work for that.

Make sure you time the mushies just right! Better early than late. I could be telling my granny how to suck eggs here, mind..

What the heck happened to the Zelda double pack?

Jeff Grubb is a hack whose entire career is built around relaying what his "sources" tell him with zero journalism on his part. And he happened to be wrong about loads on this Direct. Pretty funny actually.

Was Windwaker, Twilight Princess and Metroid Prime trilogy hidden behind some weeb shit I skipped through then?

Never skip the weeb shit! There was ... er Tears of the Kingdom.

Seriously though, I assumed you were referring to there not actually being a Nintendo Direct. It was a comment that was in the middle of people saying Grubb was full of it when he was saying that the promised Direct might be postponed because of the queen's death, as it was assumed he was only looking for an excuse now that there might not actually be one after all.
