I know bounce back from the back of the pocket when playing in real life is possible but you get it loads here. Possibly because of the power issue but you can have the perfect pot lined up then instead watch the ball hit an invisible brick wall and just bounce out loads. There seems to be only two potting powers as well, very slow or ridiculously fast.

FFS... found the issue today! It won't be fixed in the next patch but I'm hoping the one after will address some of this stuff. The person who took over pool (was started by a part time intern) isn't happy with it either and has a ton of things they want to do with it to improve it but has some other non-games dev work at the moment.

Are you able to add more achievements to the arcade games in future, @dadrester?

If you mean "goals" then yes it's possible. Actual achievements/trophies is a lot more tricky as you have to follow some very strict rules.

One of the reasons IMANOK code trophy is a pain is because originally it unlocked as soon as you did the Konami code but we had to change it because of some rules. It was super last minute and we sort of forgot that it would become unachievable after a point. We have a fix incoming for that now though.

Yep, I meant goals!

Can we have more levels for Zombat, pretty please? Love that game! Simple but plays so well.

I always wanted to add a "revive" purchase in the shop for multiplayer and a coin attractor of some sort but not sure how tit should work as they'd be one and done, as opposed to drops.

Is it just me or is the Frogger clone bugged right now? Two thirds of the way across I will consistently drown despite being fully on a log or turtle. (PC version.)

I love this game though, it's eaten all my free time during a very stressful fortnight.

It does seem a bit bugged. On the level with the islands and the water, you can just go across the water! No collision detection!

Yep. We know about this. And the various weird detection issues. Not fixed yet but we'll get to it :)

It’s a clicker game with arcade games.

I've played it for close to 48 hours. I've always been a sucker for "games within games" ever since Lazy Jones on the C64 and if they're put together well they end up being more than the sum of their parts.

Plus it scratches that childhood fantasy of wanting to run an arcade, something that would ruin you now if you weren't doing it as part of a bar.

Oh and some DLC dropped today, three new arcade games, a few bucks per game or a discount if you buy all three at once. They are

CyberDance EuroMix

Another dance machine. The weakest of the three as dance machines without a mat are essentially Simon. But hey, if you like that sort of thing here is another.

Smoke 'em

This emulates those light gun target games that were everywhere in the 90's. My ex loved these and this emulates her favourite type where you fire on targets that are just targets. Frustrating with pad but switch to mouse and you'll be setting the top score with ease.

Empathy

Now this is an odd one. Using two controls left and right (triggers) you play a man climbing up a mountain seeking enlightenment while others throw rocks at you....hang on....this is the game described in Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep!

Not quite. You run a laundromat with a small arcade out the back. You have to do boring laundry type things as well as maintain your machines. Over time the arcade bit gets bigger.

Did you try pool after the latest patch? We fixed a whole bunch of issues. *Should* play much better now :)

I haven't sorry been hopelessly addicted to Vampire Survivors lately. Would be nice to do another play through of Arcade Paradise before end of year.

This is on sale at the moment on Xbox. I'm trying to make sure I pick up smaller games on Xbox Live than Eneba et al as I feel bad about paying so little.

How important is the difficulty/price per game balancing? Also is there any way to pause the game? Does ending the day early just mean the laundry is worth less?

@moosegrinderThere's no penalty for forgetting washing - you either get $30, $20 or $10 depending on your speed. The majority of your money will come from the coin machine in the launderette and the machines themselves. You can end a day whenever you want and it makes no difference. It's a fantastic little game and well-suited to Switch if that's an option over Xbox.
