Ah, I'm personally not keen in talking about system ports like pregnancy tests, and more so with systems like 3DO and GBA, but still an amusing conversion. lol

Some of those are just things with screens!

By that notion my Kitchen wall can play doom because it has a TV!

Hmm, interesting case we have here:

mmm, I don’t have the PC-98 version…

and that list doesn’t include the Saturn and PS1 versions because… ultimate doom, and they include Doom2, and other changes?

even though it’s built off the jaguar version.

Lemming always felt like they bottled the magic first time.

I felt that Lemmings 2 was headed in the right direction by adding more skills and different levels to compliment them, but it seems like pretty much everyone was at a loss as to what to do after that.

Yeah, versions of it have been releasing as recently as 2019:

This isn't even fully comprehensive. PSP and Wii are listed due to it being included in the Anthology compilation, but that same pack also released on PS2 which isn't listed above. If you REALLY want to get anal, it was technically ported twice to the PS2 as it also appears on SNK Arcade Classics Vol.1 iirc

But as others have said, this whole topic is so up for debate with what counts as a straight port or not. As an additional, there are many who play a game on a system and just consider it a port regardless of different music, extra content etc. They aren't aware that there are differences to the OG. Strictly-speaking, it should just be the content itself and the intention that matters. For if you consider, say, Super Street Fighter II Turbo on the 3DO not to be a straight port because all of the music was re-done, you may as well not consider the Spectrum version of SFII a straight port since it barely resembles the source arcade game.

It really depends. Do you want to get super technical and do a deep-dive or do you want to just count it as the game being playable on X system regardless of enhancements, whether it's being emulated etc.

Up to you and others here as far as I’m concerned. lol

Also, I understand the Wii listing is for Virtual Console, with the PSP having an individual release too.
