Sorry to nerd out with what could be seen as a bit of a brag into the bargain. I get interested in this stuff and much of my work is pretty boring otherwise.

The NHL have got superimposed adverts on the boards and it’s very impressive.

A dreadful first half for Palace and Nottingham Forest (Zaha with a disgracefully bad penalty), the entire thing was punctuated with the announcement of a minute of injury time even though Tyrick Mitchell was down for a significant amount of time injured (the commentators confirmed it was 4 and a half minutes), how it was even feasible for the ref to think that a minute was accurate is baffling.

Maybe the ref just had enough.

You've never been to a Spurs home game have you 😂🤣

I have. A League Cup game. It was against Bradford. We had to go in the away end.

Gascoigne was on the Spurs side.

I had a coin thrown at me by a bloke in a wheelchair.

I was about 11 at the time. I scurried about the away end and picked up about £30 of coins. It was amazing.

That day, me and Dad were Bradford fans.

How was that first Spurs goal allowed to stand. Two Spurs players jump into the Leeds goalkeeper before the ball gets there.

Poor officials and VAR today, Leeds goal should have been chalked off and a straight red given on Leeds player - Spurs had more decisions against but awful ref all round.

Benitez didn’t quit he was fired. Everton need to sack Lampard, get Dyche in and sign Chris Wood on loan from Newcastle if they want to survive this season.

No no no. Keep Frank.

You have to ask why someone like that spends money to go. If you're that annoyed, why bother?

He's shouting at the Leeds players.  You can make him out shouting, "You're shit, that's why you play for Leeds!" at one point.  Still a very peculiar thing to do.  Did he think he was somehow putting them off, or sowing seeds of doubt in their minds?  "Oh no, I think we might be shit." "Why do you say that?" "Some bellend in the crowd shouted it at me and now I don't believe in myself anymore."

I think Leeds scored about 30 seconds after that so I don't think it put them off

The Spurs equaliser was dodgy. How wasn't that a foul on the Leeds keeper. VAR again not working.

The Arsenal Vs Wolves game also saw Arsenal get lucky. They could've conceded a penalty and a red card. It wasn't offside.

And, Everton can feel aggrieved too with the second goal but, they were absolutely pathetic all over the pitch.

They do! Not everybody likes them. Virtual replacement tech has been the coming thing for years now, means they can advertise different things in different territories and all that, also handy for when local laws don't allow booze or gambling ads. There's a fair bit of it in football already actually, England away games have often used it, I'd say Premier League teams will be doing it sooner rather than later. La Liga have used it for live games, I think some Bundesliga teams do it as well.

I can see Amazon actually using this to tailor adverts to an individual.

I caught the Everton highlights and was amazed that second goal stood. Even ignoring it was dead centre of the goal and 3 yards out, it was a clear clash of heads. How is that protecting player welfare?

And Laporte playing on yesterday was dangerously stupid.
