Nothing says unlimited financial resources like spending a hundred million pounds on someone to chuck themself about and bellyache.

Narrow it down will you?   😛

We’ve been saying all season he’s a red card waiting to happen.

It's actually remarkable how he hasn't been sent off before. It seems like he likes to get booked and then he calms down.

Is it @nakamura who is the big fan of Japanese football. I think he took his name from Shunsuke Nakamura. Wanted to ask about Mitoma at Brighton. He looks one hell of a talent. Does he have alot of hype in Japan ?

Sorry I've not been about much.

Yeah he was immense at FRONTALE before moving overseas. You obviously now know how good he is and Japanese fans were immensely frustrated the coach didn't use him much in Qatar.

Hardly a shock, but yeah. Scum club.

Not sure this even encompasses all their fake 'sponsors' either.

Yeah surely there's more from recent seasons too, especially from the pandemic hit ones. I assume they're stopping at 2018 there as that was the last full season before the investigation began.

I see a "it is not fair to penalise the current structure / fans for errors made in previous years" in the near future.

Perhaps they should deduct points from them in the appropriate seasons, and whoever just happens to be top of the league has another title or two. :sherlock:

He posted this one too:

Does anyone know if relegation release clauses are standard in footballer contracts?

They are not.

And there is no chance in hell that it will happen.  Not least because the PL have ignored plenty of stuff in the past (not least Everton last season with FFP and not banning Richarlison until after the season, allowing him to score vital goals).

City statement

Quote

The Club welcomes the review of this matter by an independent Commission, to impartially consider the comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence that exists in support of its position.

As such we look forward to this matter being put to rest once and for all.

Sounds like they tried to bury the PL in paperwork but we’re still found to be full of shit.

I imagine the majority of the funny business will fall outside of a timeframe they're legally able to do anything about and anything recent will be minor infractions which they'll get a small fine for. No-one goes after the drug dealer once they've used the proceeds to set up a property empire and retired.
