Tried a couple of the smaller vehicle challenges. Haha, nope.

Turns out I’m not so efficient with the time spent power washing. Just glad there isn’t an cumulative meter for all the water used in career mode.

Man the last level is huge. Almost impenetrably huge.

It's very time consuming but one of the less frustrating levels.

The Ferris wheel is just a pain in the arse.

Train station is the best. (Also time consuming on the same level as the last)

All the ones that felt awful the first time round weren't too bad this time. The treehouse I did methodically making sure I did the underside first because looking up and washing is a pain in the arse.

I've just got to the subway which is as far as I got on PC. How many more stages after that are there?

There are 38 in total in career mode

Thinking back after completing everything I think my favourite career mode stages have been the helter skelter and the underground toilet.  My favourite overall has got to be the mini golf course in the specials section

I'm looking for things to power wash in real life. I've got a little bit of stained concrete. The side wall of the house, perhaps. Starting to wonder if this game was funded by the International Association of Power Wash Manufacturers.

Same here. I spotted this yesterday and developed a bit of a twitch. I’d get the green nozzle on that pronto.

Drat. 99% on the detached house, I can't find the window frame I haven't cleaned, even while selecting it. There's no flashing blue indicator anywhere. Although that said, it's a terrible color because I also had trouble seeing which wooden trim I'd missed. Needs to be bright pink or something. I game each window another good wash just to see if I caught the right one, but no. Even pointed the cursor at every window frame to make sure it had no progress bar left.

Will move on and hopefully sort it later.

I had similar with the caravan. The indicator would only flash intermittently, and couldn’t see any orange grub. Crouching and getting under the trims with the swirly nozzle turned out to be key.

Subway station is very satisfying to clean (those tiles!) but loooooong. Happily the ‘clean the van with only the red nozzle’ is a doddle with the pro washer. Took a couple of minutes.

My cleaning style on this is so erratic. Logic would suggest cleaning from the top down but I just spray liberally at whatever is in front of me.

Reached the point where things are starting to link together…

Spoiler

…does the volcano erupt and cover everything in ash, ready for another loop of cleaning?

I couldn't tear myself away from this last night. It's almost like meditating. I realized the whole time I was playing I was thinking of nothing, completely zoned out.

Without noticing I had the 40 stars and $2k for the heavy duty washer, so grabbed that and I could almost feel the recoil from the orange nozzle based on the noise it makes, compared to the previous washer. Whipped through the achievement for washing the van with the red in minutes. I find myself routinely checking the achievements before starting a new level now, something I don't really bother with in other games. I mean, sure, sometimes it's fun to browse them and pick out a few you fancy doing, but I find myself wanting to do these.

Started the skateboard park and am really enjoying it. Nice to have essentially all flat surfaces to wash without any daft nooks and crannies. Realized holding the washer at an oblique angle causes the water to have a greater cleaning surface area while maintaining the pressure, so starting to do that to sweep the floors instead of my usual thing of walking up and down in straight lines with it more or less pointing down.

Yeah I just do whatever takes my fancy. Starting to get logical about it causes me to think and I really don't want to do that.

Agree. It’s the perfect game for just completely relaxing into. Like you, I find the experience pretty meditative, even if I have a film on the iPad while playing.

And, oh my, one of the later nozzles is a beast.

Spoiler

…behold the trident of power!

Still working through the subway station but at 62% now, so should have it sparkling in a session or two.

Argh. I recleaned all the windows about 4 times before I noticed a window high on the side wall of the house.

You really earn those 50 gamer points for doing the fire station without the scaffolding. Enjoyed that.

All throughout the game I've basically been Quick Resuming and carrying on with no problems. After a few long sessions I finished the last level, only for it to bug out on the job completion and wouldn't let me open the tablet.

"No worries," says I, "It saves frequently and even if it hasn't done the last 20% or so we'll be fine." And closed the game to restart it.

When I go back to the job it's only 22% complete. Meaning it's not saved for about 3 days.

I'm fucking livid.
