I felt it was one of the better films of last year ( though, admittedly that itsn't saying much ).

I quite liked it in a kind of 'switch off and chill' kind of way. Mind you, I can't comment on the FX because I saw it on pirate and it was a bit grainy.

(Don't worry F.A.C.T (or whoever you are), I always buy the proper one when it comes out if it's any cop.)

It's perfect switch off TV. Yes the Submarine in Vienna is a bit difficult to accept, but I can think of worst films to watch. If you lower your expectations, you'll enjoy it.

I've never read the comic so I didn't have any pre-conceptions to spoil it for me either, don't now if that helped.

What annoyed me the most was that the whole thing was geared around Quartermain when in the comic he is no more important than any of the other characters. He's made out to be this superhero type geezer but in the comic he's addicted to opium and it rules his life. I would have much preferred that version of him.

The film is so bad I fell asleep after 10 minutes and then awake again for the last ten minutes.From what I saw it looked bad but will have to try and watch it again just for the NAutilus in Vienna scene.If its anywhere near as bad as Godzilla hiding in NY's sewer system then I may just piss myself laughing!

Saw it in the cinema, and thought it was alright. Nothing special at all, and too disjointed to really hold my interest in watching it more than one more time, but certainly not a bag of poop.
