Star Wars: Skeleton Crew

Another show to add to the pile, coming next year. This has Jude Law and director Jon Watts on board. It's about some kids who get lost in the Star Wars universe, set in the same period as The Mandalorian and Boba Fett. They say it stars 4 kids, but isn't a kids show. Lost kids and "skeleton crew" is making me think of Star Trek Prodigy, though that is a kids show.

When I first read that sentence my initial thought was it's going to be like the D&D cartoon or Last Action Hero where "real life" people find themselves in a fictional world.

I'd prefer to watch that instead.

Star Wars: Skeleton Crew

A bunch of labourers and security guards are pulling the night shift on the almost-complete second Death Star. The place is almost deserted, when suddenly the Emperor turns up unexpectedly but, it turns out, he is the least of their worries...

Star Wars Skeleton crew is a hilarious new workplace comedy set in the Star Wars universe, focusing on the everyday lives of those working on the Death Star whilst the battle for the fate of the galaxy happens around them. They're less concerned about the rebels and the empire and more concerned about whose turn it is to make the tea and who stole Gam Gumjum's lunch.
