So (predictably) this just got announced.  Wasnt expecting much except for a few incremental updates.

 

But, wait for it - on PC it will FINALLY support VR!  :omg: :omg:

 

I've instantly gone from "meh" to DayOne!

Has that been mentioned this time? I enjoyed it too but haven’t read anything about it this time.

 

Adding in Supercars sounds like a daft idea, there’s enough games with those in. Adaptive AI could be good, if it works. VR is the big thing but that’s PC only unfortunately, hopefully It’ll come to PSVR2 at some point.

Maybe in 2022 there will be a Deck Building aspect which you use to activate Race Director assist, or Avoid Giving Up Controversial Place Advantage. Similarly, you could draw a penalty card like "T-Boned by a HAAS in Turn 1".

VR support, finally!  Really hyped for this.

 

Interested to see what the supercars driving looks like too.  I fancy the sound of that if it's done well enough.  Wonder if the SMS acquisition has pulled over elements/assets from project cars?

 

Can't wait.  Game will be launched just as I return from my summer hols too, perfect timing!  Something to look forward to*

 

* Usual caveats apply regarding launch day issues/bugs/performance

Will wait until it's available via gamepass. 

 

Not willing to get burned again for a game that has minimal changes (and less content, as no story mode now)

 

I could be wrong though and it's had a complete overhaul (it won't have)
