Watching some Australian streamers play it and it looks fun, so I've taken a punt on an ARG code from Gamivo for a tenner.I'll install it tomorrow and spend the weekend either being fucking annoyed or laughing like a twat.

A tenner?! I'm in.

£6.66 (ha!) Over at Eneba via VPN Argentina.

Also, don't forget to redeem the 4000 punch card (activate it before you redeem)

I'm basically getting the game for £3.

Done. Never used Eneba before, so I hope the code shows up.

It's Epic Store only I think?

Nah, they have thousands of Steam games on there too. I don't see a difference in price flipping between the UK and Argentinian stores though, which seems odd.

Edit: Sorry, got you now - I was talking more generally about their keys (I'm not interested in this game.)

Oh, I have to say the presentation is absolutely top notch. Loads of great artwork, everything is a reference to the movies, it’s very clearly made by artists who know and love these films and the series. Not actually got into the game yet but the menus and character screens are nice :D

It's alright. Only played a few games but it seems fun enough. No idea how they're going to keep interest up with the gameplay being the same. I guess it'll come as people get better at the game. We did just get to the final stage without much bother and then got absolutely fucked by the boss.

That’s my concern. A repetitive gameplay loop isn’t necessarily a problem (see Dead by Daylight, for example), but that has the benefit of original content and licensed stuff to keep interest high.

Also hoping it doesn’t go the way of the Friday the 13th game, as that had loads of potential that was mismanaged and then lost due to license issues.

It might. It's so difficult to get a foothold in the multiplayer space these days.

EDIT: lots of disconnects. Not sure if it's intentional or if it's the game. My co-op buddy DC'd and it said he needed to be online despite him talking to me on Xbox Live.

Tunnelbear won't work for me at all. Nord works fine as long as you go here once you've activated the VPN for Argentina https://account.microsoft.com/billing/redeem?ref=xboxcom&refd=www.xbox.com

Don't
forget you have to open the browser after you've turned it on.

Otherwise VPN.lat on android (I assume it's on the Apple Store too?) and do it over chrome/safari/whatever

That direct link worked, but only on my iPad. Mac wasn't having any of it even after a restart and deleting all cookies.

Thanks @moosegrinder ... let's see if I can download the thing now. Typically the X1X in the office needs an update, which always take ages. I don't know why they lock you out with the downloading (fast), verifying (glacial), installation (slow) process. At least Switch and PS do that shit in the BG and then tell you when it's ready to install.
