Can we agree that being consistent is part of the puzzle of being a great QB (do I have to name names..)? 

 

Rating an inconsistent QB as being great from his good days is pretty useless overall.

Did anyone watch any of the pro bowl this weekend? I'm just watching a bit just now and it's just a waste of time really. A few flag football games, some obstacle races and skill challenges. It was so much better when the pro bowl was a real season ender not a fill in before the Super Bowl where nobody from the two best teams are involved. Just bloody bin it totally.

No, I didn't. They should have it in Hawaii again (when there's a stadium to accommodate it, the old one was condemned) and have it after the season as you say.

The Pro Bowl has always been a bit hit or miss, the old NFC vs AFC games didn’t really work that well and no one really wants to take the hits right before the off season. The kick offs each quarter was interesting, as was the coach fantasy team picks. I like that they aren’t afraid to try things to make it worth watching (though I haven’t watched this year’s effort yet)

The problem with flag football is half of the players selected for the pro bowl don’t get to play as they are not required for this format of the sport.

 

I watched a little of the game and it just seemed even more pointless than it usually is.

Had it on in the background while playing Fire Emblem. It was ok as a time waster but I wouldn’t go out of my way to watch it. 
 

I really missed seeing all the different helmets on the field at the same time. I used to love that.

As usual, I'll be watching the Owl be Superb by myself, but I think this year marks the time I'm finally too old to go anywhere near as all out on snacks as I usually do - no half time wings or sloppy joe during kickoff, for example. Last year I just felt overfull immediately and had bad indegestion. This makes me sad, but it's undeniably healthier.

Despite it being late, I’ll probably get a pizza and have that and a cola (caffeine to keep me up) Got a two hour run scheduled in the day so should balance out.

 

Debating to watch it on ITV, or if our IPTV is firing okay, the US coverage, and all the ads. Never done that before. Will never get to see the ‘Owl in person but would one day love to watch it in a US bar.

Your first point is correct. GamePass is the raw TV feed from the US broadcaster. 
 

The ads last year were indeed crap and a real come down from the usual.

Since it’s on ITV this year, I’ll probably watch the GP coverage for the ads rather than suffer the same old UK ads over and over again. I’ll miss the BBC coverage though, the insight and studio banter was always decent if a little stretched by the end.

Joe Thomas going to the Hall of Fame first time of asking. For years the best thing the Browns had - not just in terms of player, but as a person too. Fully deserved. His acceptance speech is going to be fantastic.
