Yeah. Redbull got its act together faster than anyone else.

Ferrari continues to contrive to lose everything

Merc were hamstrung with a fundamental design flaw.

I'm not sure redbull really "deserve" the win with questionable accounting and a toxic culture. They didn't have much competition ultimately and delivered the points when required.

I was seeing the cost cap breach as being last year and let’s face it the penalty is going to have no effect on their performance in 2023. Perez was the definition of a number two driver. Sad that Hamilton’s win / pole record every season is broken especially when Russell managed it in the same car.  Hopefully he can come back strong next year when I expect Ferrari to break him like they did with Vettel and Alonso. Speaking of Alonso I wonder what his thoughts were when he saw the strategy AM had given Seb in this race.

Damn I meant Leclerc I’m regards to next year. Although even when Ferrari was on the pace this year I didn’t see anything in Leclerc that makes me think he could beat Max over a seasonal

Checo doesn't deserve 2nd place. With max circa 150 points ahead of his nearest rival, Checo should have easily been able to secure 2nd, but he didn't, because he's shit.

Don’t agree with any of that. Start of the season Ferrari were in the mix for race wins, the rivalry was between Max and Charles, thus the points. Redbull prioritized 1 racer (even to the last race and well after Max had won the championship) Checo is not shit by far.

1st quarter of the season maybe, but thereafter the RB was dominant, so I maintain that Checo should have been easily able to secure 2nd. "Shit" might be a tad harsh, but in terms of driver skill he's a long way behind half the field.

Checo isn't a shit driver by any stretch of the imagination. He's a good solid, bring it home drive that given a following wind a bit luck will win you a race, if max isn't second behind him..

And the word is, the car was neutral at the start of the year and development was 100% Max driven.
