They’ve bottled penalising Perez if they are going to do it after the race. I think he overtook the safety car too early, it was on the pit lane entrance but not in the pit lane when he went.

Perez was also about 100 lengths behind the SC just before it came in.

While im anything but a fan you do have to admire Verstappen’s car control, he is really throwing the car around and even when he squared off his tyres that little recovery spin on the move was pretty sweet!

Yet another pole this season Leclerc has failed to convert and is so far back Perez will probably get a meaningless five second penalty. Sainz was terrible and Mercedes had a shocker.

Nailed on 5 sec penalty but if there are 2 offences it makes FIA cover up a bit harder…

Shows just how dominant the car is. Once Perez got his head together and started driving more to the cars potential he took off. All while the sky pundits are wanking themselves off on how great he’s been. Max starting where Perez did would have lapped the bloody field. Perez was average at best in a dominant car.

I wonder if they are getting held in the cool-down room for the stewards to decide… or not.
