Albon to move to AM, Piastri to williams, and Williams can kep collecting those sweet Latifi dollars.

I don’t see it happening though.  Schumacher to AM, Piastri to Williams and Latifi Snr takes his cash back to Canada, and pretty much everyone else stays where they are…

Imagine if Seb, Ric, Alo and Lew all retire in the same year... I think we might get 2 out of the 4.

Ric to AM

Some rubbish Indy driver to Macca even though it should be Gas man.

F for Nicky

Piastri to Williams.

Longer term my hunch is when Ham retires, Merc poach Lec. Max isn't going anywhere, maybe ever. By the time Ham goes the Lec and Ferrari will be completely toxic and broken. Enter Toto...

LeMans meet!

I mean it's the perfect storm, the 100th running of the greatest endurance rac on the planet...were it not for those pesky kids and their gcse exams😫

Every man woman and dog with any form of bronze licence will be trying to shoe horn themselves into a seat for next years race. I'd expect garage 56 next year to feature some triple A lineup of drivers when most years they'd do well to get anyone to turn up.

I have a strong suspiscion that the Leclerc - Ferrari relationship might already be irrevocably broken. I did, last weekend, wonder if Charles's unforced error was related to just not having confidence - the niggle at the back of the mind as to what's going to fuck up this week. They had a decent championship lead and have totally pissed it up the wall via reliability and strategy, and now errors are creeping in. I don't see how that gets turned around short of Ferrari becoming a totally different organisation.

With Lewis seemingly re-energised and enjoying himself again, I think he's nailed on for next year and maybe 2024 as well. so I don't think there are any good seats for Charles to move to freeing up soon.

My feeling is if next years car isn't a contender Ham is going to retire. But If Merc get their act together and properly get back in the fight, who knows maybe he could do another 4 years.

2 barren years of no wins / no prospect of real wins (not a freak result) and I think he is gone.

The word is though that having to fight for the podiums again has given him a new lease of life. I think he's staying now.

Charlie will leave Ferrari and Lando will Join his buddy Carlos for jolly japes and high adventure. Just as Ferrari become unstoppable.

Charlie will drive for Alpine and be just as accident prone as ever. He has a real mind set problem and however good he is, he's never going to believe in himself enough to realize the potential.

I hear you but...

Look at Lewis in the in early years. For a while he was all over the shop - towards to end of the Mclaren years. I see a lot of parallels here. I also think like Lewis he will mature, not beat himself up as much (like Lewis did) and become a great. Like Lewis though he will need to move on I feel. Merc would be the perfect spot for him imo.

Not looking good for them is it. Ferrari looking very strong. And mclaren weirdly.

have they said what the reasons are? Lack of quali pace has been a standard for merc but seems worse than that.

Looks like it is Ferrari's race to lose. So what will it be this week? I'm gonna go with the classic 'terrible pit strategy' for chaz and sainz into the wall at about halfway being the cause of the bad strategy call.

For the first time in ages I looked up the bookmakers odds for this race and saw that Perez is longer odds than both Hamilton and Russell which seems weird.

Is this normal?

Checo and water don't mix.
