Not sure what’s going on, but my Wordle is different to everyone else’s today (including my other half sitting right next to me.

You’re on a cached version of the site - when it moved to the NY Times site from powerlanguage.co.uk, they changed the word list (which is hard coded into the source code of the webpage).

Went for repeated letter words for guesses 2 and 3 - they got me the R and confirmed the order of the first three letters, at least:

I also pressed enter on line four expecting it to be wrong as too British, but couldn’t think of anything else that would fit and was just hoping it might somehow provide another clue!
