I just wonder if the creator is running analysis on the guesses as they evolve over time, and waiting to unleash a brute that destroys every one.

 

I reckon HYRAX would ruin a lot of people's days unless you got lucky on early guesses. Any other suggestions?

No vowels would probably do me. With a repeated letter for added confusion. SLYLY or SHYLY, perhaps.

I found this one the most confusing so far. Was stuck for ages after the second guess as I’d used all of the most common letters and was left with weird ones.

Fuck me, I shouldn't attempt these before the first coffee. I was drawing a complete blank and even started to doubt whether it was a word I was even familiar with. It was, but fuck me it took way too long. Guesses 3,4, and 4 were purely there to pinpoint and eliminate common vowels and consonants.
