I shouldn't feel quite so proud of myself for guessing a 5 letter word. After line two I felt it had to be gettable, because I'd eliminated so many possibilities, but I couldn't see it for the longest time.

I'm trying switching to TREND for my first word because it is made entirely of very common letters that are also quite likely to be last in a 5 letter word. Not sure it's a good move, but we shall see. It is low on the vowels obviously...

Hoist was a weird guess that told me next to nothing, but at least ruled out some vowels.

 

Sleep just added to the confusion as I couldn’t get my head around what the yellow E meant…

Ish… I wanted to try something with that 4th letter and was getting desperate. I tried various things (it tells you if a word isn't in the word list) that felt vaguely familiar. I definitely couldn't have told you its meaning though.
