Almost like winning the lottery, my second guess was basically fishing for more letters and I’d never think to be as lucky. Actually, this is the second time it has happened to me, all I need now is to get the word on the first guess.

I haven't set it, but I always do. I find it helps most of the time, because it generally whittles away far more possibilities. The only time I'm tempted not to is in cases where you get a really common set of letters locked in early on. If you get the last 2 letters as LL for example, there are so many possibilities for the first three, that ideally you'd really want to whittle them down as quickly as possible (a guess of SKIMP would be a lot better than a guess of SKILL, obvs. Unless the answer was skill, of course, which is what I'd have to hope).

4/6 here. But the streak’s up to 30/30 now.

 

Edit: Oh, and actual Hard mode for life. Not this lily-livered “Oh, I play like I’m in hard mode... until I get stuck and then I cheat like the craven word coward I truly am!” nonsense.
