Accidentally used the same letter in the wrong place twice, and also tried using a plural out of desperation!

I've just noticed I used a word with two of the same letter as well! Never do Wordle before your morning coffee!

My new starter has drawn a complete blank 3 out of 4 times I think, but it does eliminate a bastard load of possibilities so I may stick with it for a while longer.

Pleased with that. Also, wouldn't have got the first two yellows with the Optimized Opener approach. Just putting in whatever words take my fancy, these days.

At this point I couldn't think of anything that fit the pattern N_O_L or _NO_L (I was pretty sure the O would be in the middle not at the start), so I tried to think of words that would eliminate as many more letters as possible. But I could only think of a word to eliminate W and G - a word that felt very appropriate at this point:

After spending ages trying to think of guesses 4 and 5, I gave up and decided to just enter something, anything, to find out the answer:

Accidentally didn't play Hard mode like I usually do and kept forgetting about earlier letters, that's what you get for playing at 3am. Still, maybe it made it even harder. The 4th guess was pure torture to figure out!
